Course Curriculum Overview :

I have interest in food and allied courses, community science is a balanced degree programme which contains courses on food science, nutrition, human development, child psychology, physiology, agriculture, statistics, textile, extension education, resource management, consumer education, space designing, interior designing. It contains very much deciplines and facilities in a well optimised and balanced curriculum Cons for this course is their is more scope in Nutrition in jop perspective compared to other subjects, and their is only one college in Maharashtra state It is newly launched course, previously their is only home science is their, now it is advanced and it is introduced in 2017

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

Fees structure for general male students is approximately 20000 and for female approximately 15000 with hostel (without food) food fees is approximately 2000 per month, without hostel it is less about 5000 For reserved students it is around 10000 with hostel and around 4000 for day scholar Complete cost of education for general students is around 80000 to 90000 and for reserved students is around 20000 to 25000 Their are multiple scholarship are also available for both general and reserved students It is same for Msc, but for 2 years but it requires additional cost for thesis printing, research work So that additional amount required approximately around 25k to 30k

Campus Life :

Freshers party, cultural gatherings, farewell programs, upskilling programs, technical sessions, etc Their is University library is available which contains many books and generals, there are multiple portals available along with University's official website for research articles and journals their are monthly books and articles are also available Classroom contains digital projector and laboratories for practicals are available Sports programs are conducted and extracurricular activities also held Students are connected via WhatsApp group

Admission :

Eligibility for the course is UG in Community Science or either Home science Their are 12 vacancies in 3 departments for this course in which 9 vacancies are filled from MCAER or Maharashtra students, and remaining 3 are filled from ICAR or from all over India Their is entrance exam for both MCAER and ICAR for getting admission in agriculture Universities on the basis of that you can get admission in M.Sc community science Their are reservation benefits are provided for defferent caste in seat allotment and fees which are changed in every year Entrance exam held in every year and difficulty is quite harder because for getting in top department like food and nutrition, their only 3 vacancies in state and only one in ICAR, my rank was 2nd in state Admission process is well optimised, but takes too much time

Course Curriculum Overview:

That course gave me a good career option. I got job in a private school with a better salary but in IT section it is difficult to get a job by this course because it is not a technical educational course that's why I rated only 5 for this course.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I personally liked the subject I chose for my post-graduation studies. The teachers prepare us for the exam in class itself. They cover the syllabus and take our practice of the exam and gaining knowledge. The timing of the exam is a little issue in our college. The college provides us with only 2 hours 30 minuutes timing for 60 marks theory exam.

From 10 sem itself as it is a 5 year Integrated course. usually people go for PhD abroad many of them are in cambridge and oxford and other institutes around the world and some ewitch towards IIMs and Startups. Basically BARC provide job opportunity for 54k permonth and you can always get appraisals after finishing trainning school. I'm planing a Phd abroad in genome editing field.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Distance learning allows all age group of people to enroll their higher education. Financial constraints are one of the main reason I chose distance education. The take classes on every sunday how ever i have attended the sunday classes they teach in a excellent manner so that every person can understand it in depth

Placement Experience:

By the end of sem3 itself, the postgraduates are deployed into interviews for certain internships. But if you are with good academic scores and knowledge you can even get directly placed. Every individual is given 3 chances by the college to get and crack the interview but if the student is not able to then he is guided to where to apply but mostly ICRI makes sure everyone is placed as the college proudly stays with its 100% placement tag line. As I told here there are varied background people here with different needs of roles, the highest package I have seen getting is 15L pa to the lowest of 3L pa which even depends upon the company to your broad spectrum of knowledge. To specify which companies come here for recruitment are sun pharma, Cipla, and many more there are all 20+ companies that come and hire the intellectuals. To specify about me I am planning to get a CRC post as a start for CRA in the future.

Remarks:

The college management is very approachable and helpful. We have an email-based network for direct referring of our grievances. The college lacks in only one thing and, that is, proper recognition amongst the masses. The reason might be because it's not a technical one and it's also young and only 13 years old.

Remarks:

The college aims to provide students the opportunity to visit diverse countries and campuses. The objective of this effort is to provide students an opening to gain real life exposure to the cultural, social, industrial, educational & historical aspects of each other’s countries. I would recommend this college to everyone.
