- Freedom, as it girls college and no dress code
Dislikes
- The bathrooms are not maintained properly and as women's college we expect it to be more neat and clean
- HOD permissions for even the smallest things and inconvenience for hostellers
Course Curriculum Overview :
As an electronic student, we also have to do coding and learn core subjects. Even though it's hectic, I feel like it benefits a lot of students as they don't have to learn python or Java after their college years to get a job. We have mini projects where our ideas are discussed and implemented. We also have IoT related classes to improve our knowledge in core side.
Internships Opportunities :
J Morgan, TCS, Wipro, Amazon and many other companies usually provide technical internships. We also have externships offered by smart internz where IoT is taught and the projects of the students are mentored and certificates are provided at the end of the program
Placement Experience :
Well, N number of companies have approached but the requirements of the companies usually include students from IT sector and electronic and electrical students get very less opportunity. But placements are good if you are skilled enough
Fees and Financial Aid :
Well, the fees increases every year. And it is free for other castes such as SC, ST. We have to pay 1 lakh per annum and (45k for bus charges). OC cannot apply for scholarships (which personally i don't like as everyone should equal chance at it).
Campus Life :
We have sports club which takes place every 2 to 3 months. The sports area is very enthusiastic and well managed. Students in sports get to participate in sports events and games of other colleges too and it is FUN. We have artista for art club which usually organises every event and fest. We have samskruthi for dancers and singers and drama club as well. We have hackathons and many technical events during fests. Library has more subject related books than other books. And we have e classrooms where we have access to projectors.
Admission :
The process of admission wasn't too long after clearing entrance exam. Students with recommendations can directly go to the principal if they have good grades in boards and jee. I joined this college by clearing eamcet and my rank was 12k (as I am OC). it might vary for different people depending on reservations. As students who are SC & ST with 50k rank are also given an opportunity to get admission. Narayanamma is top 3 colleges of Hyderabad and top 1 women's college in Hyderabad. The exams are conducted regularly, even vivas during the labs are taken (every lab we have to give viva) and difficulty is average. Personally, I feel like the admission process is too hectic.
