Yashaswani Arora's Review On Modern Institute Of Technology And Research Centre -[MITRC], Alwar

Remarks :

Pros Feasible when it comes to fees, Cooperative faculty Cons No time for ECA, Mismanagement of schedules

Entrance Preview :

I was planning to pursue my PG from hometown and this was my best option as compared to other colleges. Also it was nearby hardly 4kms from my apartment so it was bit convenient for me. Later on I realized visiting other colleges would have been helpful when the timetable got mixed with the finance students.

Course Curriculum Overview :

Apparently, it was more than enough. Most of the topics were covered as per the course. The content provided by the faculty was easy to understand and well sorted.I guess our HOD see through that. Taking unit test was a good idea to prepare the students before exam.

Internships Opportunities :

I am not aware about any such circumstances. Although regarding your internship they might suggest you a company or two they have contacted. Still suggested to do that on your own.

Placement Experience :

Placements are done quite frequently but if we are talking about like really good companies along with managerial post then no. You might get selected into IBM or TCS but you might be working in the BPO sector as an agent. Better chance to get managerial post if you are applying via reliable sites.

College Events :

College fest was my favourite I enjoyed a lot with my friends. Apart from that FRESHER'S EVE, TEACHER'S DAY, HINDI DIVAS, ENGINEER'S DAY etc. Looking back there were actually lots of events celebrated in our college. And there use to be various competition to participate.

Fee Structure And Facilities :

It is feasible when it comes to fee I mean you can get your PG done under 1.5 -2.0 lacs (including bus fees and other projects fees) if you are from alwar or staying in alwar. If you are living nearby or in some village the bus fees might take half of your college fees then.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

Some of my friends might have availed scholarship. But I am not aware of any equations of loan totally. I mean there are loan facilities available but I m not sure about.

Hostel Facilities :

I have been to mess once the food was ok. Not ao good not so bad. And the hostels weremclean and spacious enough. You have to share with your roomies but its fine and not conjusted like any other hostle. Also the rent is feasible you don't have to spend a lot to get a place in there. I guess they charge around 60 thousand yearly.

Alumni/Alumna :

Not exactly. Haven't met any alumni any of them and the seniors are just gone. Leaving one or two aside I dont think any of them to be helpful.

Exam Structure :

Actually quite convenient I must mentioned. They have unit test before final exams and mostly after each chapter, that directly or indirectly helps in preparing for the university exams.sometimes it becomes hectic due to report, viva, presentation etc but still faculty cooperates a lot at that time.

Admission :

I just happen to know one of the faculty so I directly went with my dad for counselling with HOD and on the very same day the procedure was done. Although I had some queries regarding the placement and the internship but the counsellor was able to clarify that for me.

Faculty :

Faculty was cooperative somehow I feel the environment needs to be improved a lot for the students also time for the extra curricular activities should be given. I mean i hardly visited the library like thrice in two years. I personally feel the HR faculties were better.

Students have to appear for any of the management level entrance exam in order to be eligible for an MBA admission. I applied for the MBA program on the basis of my MAT exam scores. Students are invited for a counseling round.

Placement Experience:

Dedicated training sessions are organized in order to make the students industry-ready. Mock interviews are organized before different companies visit the campus for the placement drive. Some of the frequent recruiters from our industry include Tech Mahindra, HCL, FedEx, VaultUp Technologies, etc.
