- The seniors and other are quite friendly and are not judgemental
- The faculties are very experienced, friendly and helpful.
Dislikes
- Although the campus is large but it needs maintenance. The surroundings needs a little improvement
- There is not much extracurricular events or fests
Course Curriculum Overview :
The faculties are very friendly and helpful. This curriculum provides the students with great exposure to real life situations and is quite helpful for higher studies in this particular subject as the faculties are quite experienced. They have a great realistic approach and this can be very helpful in case of further academic pursuits. The classes are also interactive which creates more interest in the students for the subject.
Internships Opportunities :
Internship opportunities were announced by our CM last year only so we don't know much about the internship opportunities. On asking about the internship opportunities we were told that we will be informed about internship opportunities later.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
There is no tution fee. You have to only pay the exam fee which is 330 for subjects with practical and 280 for subjects without practical. There is only admission fee which is also quite reasonable. For girls it's around 300 and for boys it's around 1200. so for whole education other than exam fees you don't have to pay any other extra tution fees. There are many government scholarships which are quite helpful for the students. Scholarships are available on the basis of caste. There is one more scholarship available only for the north-eastern students which is ishanuday scholarship program, which is also very helpful for the students.
Campus Life :
The college don't conduct much fests . Although It conducts all the educational seminars and curriculum related programs but the number of extracurricular activities are quite less. But the college is quite famous for the conduction of Saraswati Puja as people from all over the city visits the college on that day. There is no social groups or clubs except ABVP. The library is in quite good condition and it's quite large and the faculties there is also very helpful. The college stadium is also very large. Sometimes the ranji trophy matches and many other matches are played here.
Admission :
No entrance exam is needed. Selection is done on the basis of class 12th marks. You just need to fill the application form which includes your choice of subject. Then a merit list is published on the basis of marks. Then you have to submit your documents to get admitted. The admission process was quite smooth and the management was quite systematic. You have to fill out half of the admission form online which makes it more helpful. The staffs and students are also quite friendly. The admission fees are also very reasonable.
