Course Curriculum Overview :

The mbbs curriculum is based on more clinical knowledge and experience that made me interested in this course. The main aim of this curriculum is to provide more clinical knowledge to the students for becoming a better doctor. The examination part of the curriculum can be improved a bit for the sake of students There are 4exams taken in a year in the college and the course is of4years academics . The difficulty level of the exams are moderate to severely difficult

Internships Opportunities :

No companies are involved.. students undergoes internship in the GBP hospital associated along with AGMC and gets a stipend of Rs 19000 per month . The duty hours of internship are quite hectic and can't be skipped. But students get to learn a lot from the seniors and consultants that give them life time knowledge. Also the live experiences dealing with real life patients are a must to become a good physician in the future

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

Tuition fees are Rs.59000 for each 2nd,3rd, and 4th year and 1st year Rs.100000 for admission purposes and tuition fees for the 1st year. The complete cost for the course is about Rs.280000 There are scholarships available for all category students. Internships are given to students after qualifying final proff mbbs exam.

Campus Life :

Annual freshers fest occurs which is synapse. Annual college week - phoenix A good range of books available in the library Poor to mild facilities available in the classroom Cricket and football are available but only for boys No clubs or social groups present in the college

Admission :

The course is eligible for the students qualifying neet UG exam and based on the state merit list . The application form is available on the college academic section. Reservation is available for sc, st,obc, ews category students . There are total four exams taken in the college each year and the course is of 4years of academics. The difficulty level of the exams are moderate to severe level . The areas for improvement in admission can be in making more systematic process of admission. Proper time allotment for each students and making a hassle-free process is needed . The document verification and physical examination of the students are important steps in admission process . Aslo deposition of the fees can be done a day before the admission on the bank through draft which can make the admission easier next day

Course Curriculum Overview:

MBBS is a very tough course, and it's curriculum has to be tough. We are being taught how to teach patients, how to take care of society, and all the basic etiquette a doctor should know. The exams are usually very tough. We have to be thorough about topics since we are going to save lives in the future.

Placement Experience:

We are placed in the hospital during the internship on how good knowledge we have based on giving good treatment to the patients. The salary, in the beginning, is good and as the experience increases, we can even open our clinic or even hospital or work privately too. Placement in many renowned hospitals is quite so easy thought AGMC college and they give much money to work as a doctor. Like private Institute provide freshers 30-40k per month salary and govt are giving little bit low salary per month. But after 1year this salary increase.

Placement Experience:

About 100 students are getting admission every year in MBBS course. Our batch 2014-15 is the 10th batch of this college. And among 100 students of our batch, 90 students passed out in the final year in one go and all of them have successfully completed their internship duties by March 2020. The students become eligible for campus placements after the 3rd year. Almost 60-70% of students get placements every year from our college. I have completed my MBBS in 2019 and internship in 2020. Now I am working as a junior resident in NIL RATAN SARKAR MEDICAL COLLEGE AND HOSPITAL, KOLKATA.

Admission:

The college takes in students purely on the basis of their NEET scores. I scored 508 in neet and got this college in my counseling process. Then I went ahead to seeking details of the admission procedure and got admitted to the college.

Entrance Preview:

I got admitted on 2014 by TMC joint entrance. I scored pretty good. My rank was 83 in Tripura State Domicile and I opted for MBBS cause its my dream course. I always wanted to be a Dr.

Admission:

My father collected application form for the entrance exam from TMC office itself and I appeared the exam and got lucky. The notification is released both in college website www.tmc.nic.in as well as in newspapers. Now selection is through NEET only.
