Likes

You can focus on gate, or any other job teachers are helpful no issue of attendance.
easily pass as syllabus is not hard,and get a B.tech degree.

Dislikes

poor infracture, lack of resources such as sports facility.
Less qualified teachers with no PHDs, and familiar with basic knowledge.

Course Curriculum Overview :

The curriculum is perceived as average , lacking specific elements that might make it stand out. In my case, the motivation was not to waste a year by opting for a drop. The flexibility in attendance which let me focus on other interests. The curriculum is same as MAKAUT, and the exam frequency is also controlled by MAKAUT .Areas of improvement is infrastructure and better faculty.

Class Size : 30Course Fees : INR 92000 per year

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

Fees structure for b.tech is 46500 per semester, 6000 for uniform, and 1000rs per semester exam fees. Total fees is approx 380000, There are many state-sponsored scholarships you can get such as the swami Vivekanand scholarship which pays 60000 per year if you maintain a 6+ CGPA every semester.

Campus Life :

Campus life is very basic, with no to less clubs. Once in a while some sports event like between houses thats it, don't think of these aspects if you are chosing this college.Library is average you will get every book related to your subject.

Admission :

The admission process for the course was relatively straight forward, with a focus on extrance exams like JEE and WBJEE . These Exams served as primary criteria for admission, and the scores obtained were valid for application. To begin the application process, prospective students could find the application form on the official websites of the respective entrance exams. The application fees varied depending on the exam and the category of the applicant, with different rates for general and reserved categories. Overall, while the admission process for the course may have its strengths, such as the use of established entrance exams and relatively low cutoff scores, there is always room for improvement to enhance transparency, fairness, and the overall quality of the process.

Good- Engineering College Review

Placement Experience:

Campus Placements of students used to happen but because of the pandemic we are here giving offline placements and preparing from online classes. As far as I know, 50% of my classmates have got placed at different companies with a good package. One of the students got placed at Glassgow Scotland with a package of around 30LPA. The average percentage required to get placed in any company is like 60-70%. I am preparing for Govt job exams and also for different IT companies. All you need is hard work, self-study, and consistent effort so that you can fulfill the company's requirements.

Remarks:

The course I have opted for has one of the best faculties in this college over West Bengal. We have 2 Ieee student society in this college in which students can easily be part of and enhance their skills. The placement cell of our college is highly reputed as they always bring in the best companies for campussing. (Including core companies). We have excellent lab facilities where we can work upon our projects. From this college numerous students have participated in hackathons( including national levels) and bagged prestigious positions. We have an MHRD facilitated research lab.

Entrance Preview:

I took WBJEE, it is the state level examination conducted by the West Bengal University of Technology. I scored a rank of 14373 in that entrance exam. I opted this particular college because after getting the rank.

Every year college calls MNC companies for placements in our college campus and also send us to other college for the pool campus. The first company which comes to our college is Tata Consultancy Service who took around 100 students with a package of 3.25 LPA.
