Crowd, greenery, faculty, all the science labs

Hostel meals, canteen prices for some things can be made reasonable, more sports opportunities can be offered for students who want to play just for enjoyment and to refresh themselves rather than professionally.

Course Curriculum Overview :

I chose this course because i wanted to go into higher studies in medical sciences. Faculty-student ratio is about 1:40. Qualification for faculty is doctorate degree and the way of teaching is very good. Term exams are according to the Panjab University academic schedule are conducted timely in December and June.

Class Size : 40Course Fees : INR 29798 per year

Placement Experience :

Students are eligible for campus placements in sixth semester. Some of the companies that visited include Tata, Amazon, Tommy Hilfiger, Calvin Klien etc. About 20% students get placements however most opt for higher studies. I would also consider going for higher studies after getting my degree

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

The fee structure for my course is approximately 30,000 annually. However, financial assistance is also provided by the college to students from economically weaker section. Students can apply for scholarships through National Scholarship Portal

Campus Life :

Campus life is great here. Annual fests are organized in the college such as Meraki- official fest of college which is usually in the month of February, Science fest conducted on 28th February - Science day, Diwali fest etc. Library of college is well established. Books of foreign authors are also available in the college library. About the social groups run by students, students are mostly engaged in organizing the Meraki fest and many other fests conducted in the collge.

Hostel Facilities :

The facilities provided in the hostel include air conditioned rooms with beds, mattresses, a study table, and a cupboard. Facility of washing machines is also provided in the hostel. Meal quality personally is average but each to their own. You can register for hostel online on official website of MCM DAV after you have acquired seat for admission. However the seats for hostel are on first come, first serve basis. More details can be found on hostel prospectus. The cost for AC rooms is 1,40,000 per year

Admission :

Eligibility- 50% marks in class 12th physics, chemistry and biology Centralized admission process. Forms for admission can be found on official website of MCM DAV and its prospectus. All the details admission details can be found there.

Honest review about postgraduate government college sector 11

Placement Experience:

In postgraduate government college sector 11 all the students that are in final year are eligible for campus placements. And if you are a BSC biotechnologu honours student, then you do get internships after your second year in various hospitals around Chandigarh, but for non honours students The placements are not that much impressive.In 2024, the placements that were introduced for the final year.Students especially for the science students were not very interesting and not very much oriented according to the course. If it's to be concluded Then the placements provided our average the amount of students getting placements is less.

Uneveling my campus experience (Chandigarh University)

Course Curriculum Overview:

I am from science background so biotechnology at that is very fascinating term so that's how i choose that but later on due to the content and teaching behaviour i liked it very much. Biotechnology is something that is now plays important role in healthcare and new drug development process so that's how i like it and i got job later by this course in healthcare market research company. Nothing like improvement from my end only need to improve genetics subject curriculum. We get little time between exams like there is mst exams 2 times and 1 final exams held in one semester.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course was not far above as expected it was from old education policy I literally hate zoology not interest in practical zoology because it was like just seeing slides but chemistry and industrial microbiology lab and syllabus were cool. Zoology subjects implemented should be changed for future development skills like apiculture farming etc which can be better for the future

The curriculum is relevant to the subject and contains very comprehensive knowledge. The curriculum also contains skill enhancement courses that help a student to earn in future such that if he want to generate any passive income . Chandigarh University: Comprehensive analysis by alma mater

Placement Experience:
