Remarks :

Admission process was very easy only west Bengal joint entrance exam rank was required with class 10 and 12 results cut off of the entrance exam was different for different castes there is nothing to improve in the admission process

Course Curriculum Overview :

I had interest in information technology so I choose this course faculty to student ratio is like 10:53 all the members are highly qualified and their teaching technique is using white board and projectors

Class Size : 53Course Fees : INR 436500 per year

Internships Opportunities :

Many paid and unpaid internships are provided by the college every year with certain exams to get the stipend projects are made by students every year with some creative and repeatative ideas some of them are accepted by the judges

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

Cost of the study is 436500 fees structure is 48000 per semester svmcm scholarship is provided by the college which is around 60000 per year which helps in giving the college fees properly in time I am still not placed cuz am in 3rd year right now

Campus Life :

Annual fest is conducted in the month of September and techfest is conducted in the month of July many books are available in the library multiple sporting events like cricket football indoor games occurs every year

Review of IEM Kolkata, a strict Engineering College.

Placement Experience:

The students are eligible for the placements after the sixth semester. The companies that generally visit us for placements are TCS, Infosys, Cognizant, Accenture, Wipro, Oracle, IBM and some other ones. The highest package offered through last years is 22 Lacs Per Annum and on average it is 4-5 LPA. 90% students on average get placed Every year. My plans after getting the Degree is to pursue Freelancing Full Time and Become a Web Designer.

Good Placements

Placement Experience:

We become eligible from the later part of the third year to sit for the placements as the companies arrive then. Mainly placements are dependent on service-based companies like TCS, CTS, Wipro e.t.c. who mass recruits a whole lot of students with standard 3.5 to 4 LPA packages. Product-based companies like Oracle, Amazon, and trilogy too visited the campus. Oracle recruited a few of the candidates, Amazon too but nobody could clear the trilogy's OA rounds. Oracle offered a package of 15lpa and Amazon around 22 LPA. But a lot of students applied off campus and the highest placement off campus was 72 LPA in Google. The placement percentage is nearly 100% which is mainly due to the fact of service-based companies. I too am interested in IT jobs so am preparing for the same.

Seeing stcet again through my eyes

Placement Experience:

Students from the 4th-year 7th semester onwards become eligible for all sorts of campus recruitments. Cognizant technology solutions are the principal recruiter. Other companies which used to come during this time include Infosys, Odesha technologies, itc infotech, and others. All these companies generally take many students from our campus. During our time around 88% of students got selected from our batch. Out of which many students got double job offers from cognizant and Infosys. Some got job offers in sonodyne, Vodafone, and other companies. The highest package was offered by cognizant which was about 6 lakhs per annum. An average package of 3.5 lakhs per annum was offered by Infosys followed by itc infotech which offered roughly 4 lakhs per annum. After getting the degree I will pursue Ms maybe or maybe I can opt for MBA too. Also, I can sit for ies exam. Let's see what happens.
