Course Curriculum Overview :

In the first year of BA in filmmaking, students are tought about evry category or field in filmmaking is taught to the students after 1 years of the course. The students are asked to give their prefrence for the field they want to opt in and study for the next 2 years. for this student s need to give exam and interviews for the specific fields. The faculty for VFX was smart intelectuals and they help you out a lot during your 2 years in the course. But we were the lockdown cbatch so we did not get the best out of our course

Class Size : 15Course Fees : INR 500000 per year

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

the college fee can vary between the different courses. Even in filmmaking VFX for 3 years was 15 lakh and if i were to choose cinmatography i woud need to pay 24 lakh for 3 years We have 3 scholarships and these are awarded to the best students

Campus Life :

Our college has quite a lot of fests. As we were a filmmaking college we invited alot of industry leading Actors and filmmakers. All of the sdtudents could be engaged throughout their course in manu clubs and sports ctivites too

Admission :

Admission Process is a simple process. We have to fill an admisson form, which can cost around 1k to fill the form. Once the form is submitted, if your applications is selected you will be asked to come to the campus for an wrtitten exam and an interview. The exam for me was about filmmaking so any other student exam will be specif to whatever filed they have sent their application in. If you are selected you wil get an email about your selecton and you will asked to send a seat confirmation amount which is around 1,10,000. After

Investment in college not on teaching faculty

Course Curriculum Overview:

Now a days animation and vfx are in good form in flim industries. Our college don't prepare good as how studio does. Teaching methods can impove by getting highly educated teachers and they should know how to teach. Exam timing are enough but college should focus on practical exam, they only focuse on theory exam these exam are not gona help to get the job so focus on practicals.

I chose the course because of my career choice. The faculty in my institution was more than 500 and students were about 50 thousand or more. The qualification of the faculty were substantially above average and they were well equipped with skills to train and educate us students. My experience at SID

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for campus placements in their 3rd year. They get summer internships and can do freelance work as well. Companies such as Infosys, Cognizant, Whirlpool, etc. recruit students from SID. The average package is around 10 LPA with the highest for this year being around 18 LPA. As of 2022, the percentage of students getting placements is 100%. As an animation student, I have various options to explore such as VFX Artist, Cartoonist, Visual Storyteller, etc. after my degree.
