- There are 75% attendance required. Regular weakly test, Assignments and presentations are bit difficult.
Course Curriculum Overview :
The Institute for Excellence in Higher Education (IEHE) in Bhopal offers various undergraduate, postgraduate, and vocational courses. The course curriculum is well-structured and hectic. I chose B.Com as I am interested to learn Finance and Business. The faculty members are highly qualified and experienced, with many having good experience. The faculty:student ratio is excellent, and the teachers are always available to help students. The teaching methodology is excellent, with teachers using good examples to explain concepts. The semester exams happen timely, and a Academic calander is uploaded every year which provides all year activities. The level of examination is a little hard, but it is easy to score if you are regular.The internal marks and attendance marks also matter a lot.
Internships Opportunities :
The Institute for Excellence in Higher Education (IEHE) in Bhopal provides internship opportunities to students in their final year. Companies like Meesho and Flipkart provide internship opportunities to students. The college also provides industry projects to students in their final year. The college has a specific cell called the placement cell that provides placement opportunities for 80-90% of students. The placement cell also provides internships to students. The AIM Group was hired for internship in Management training role with upto 20,000 stipend.
Placement Experience :
The Institute for Excellence in Higher Education (IEHE) in Bhopal has a good placement record, with many companies visiting the college for campus placements. The placement cell at IEHE works efficiently, and they provide placement opportunities for 70-80% of students.The college has a higher placement rate compared to other colleges in the area. Some of the companies that have visited the college for placements include Amazon, Kotak Mahindra Bank, HDFC Bank, LG Ltd, Flipkart, Meesho, Zomato, Swiggy, ICICI, and others. The average package provided by these companies is around 3-4 lakhs. Not many students prefer placements after completing their B.Com degree, but around 20-30% of students do get campus placements. For students who are not interested in placements, the college provides opportunities for internships and field projects. Many students apply for government and more competitive exams after completing their degree
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
The Institute for Excellence in Higher Education (IEHE) in Bhopal has a reasonable fee structure. The fees for different courses are as follows: Yearly fees for B.com students are around ?20,000 in 1st year and approx 17,000 in next years. Merit-cum-means scholarships are available for students whose parents' income is less than ?1,50,000, providing up to ?5,000. Some of the scholarships available at IEHE include: Mukhyamantri Medhavi Vidhyarthi Yojna (MMVY): For students with a merit of the Class 12 class of Madhya Pradesh. Gaon Ki Beti Yojna: For students who have cleared Higher Secondary examination from a school situated in a Gram Panchayat. Pratibha Kiran Yojna: Provided to every girl applicant from the BPL category getting first division. IEHE also provides financial assistance to students who are facing financial difficulties.
Campus Life :
The Institute for Excellence in Higher Education (IEHE) in Bhopal provides a good campus life with various co-curricular activities and college fests like Tarang, CAMFOTECH, and fresher's. The Tarang is a annual fest that is organised in month of February. It is 3 days festival and there are various activities on those days. Freshers and Farewell party are also organised officially and unofficially. The library is a good place to study, but the canteen is not up to the mark. There are many books and previous answer sheets of topper i.e. provide idea to write answer in exam. The buildings for B.Com and B.A. are joint, and there are two playgrounds where students can play sports. Sports complex is available for playing such games like badminton, table tennis,chess etc. There are a Gym is also available for students.
