Remarks :
The infrastructure is very good. Good labs with computer and internet connection. Fees is also quite affordable. Situated in a good place. Teachers are also helpful, liking the experience for now. Lets hope for the best.
Entrance Preview :
I was a diploma student and after completing my diploma was trying to join a college to do B.E. My marks were a bit less. i scored 65% in my diploma and so i got this college through the online round. I was doing diploma in mechanical only and i wanted to continue soni choosed this course. The admission was on the marks. There wasn't any interview taken for that.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I had a knowledge of the basic of this course as i did it in my diploma. It was the advanced part of what i studied along with some more new subjects. The curriculum was okay. Our college didn't have much on practical learning. We have practicals on software to design different mechanical components at the moment.
Internships Opportunities :
No the college didn't provide us with any internship yet. Seniors say they vl provide at the final year during the vacations. Since i am in my 3rd year, i don't have much idea on that yet.
Placement Experience :
The placement cell wasn't much established. The College is just 6 years old, and so not much companies turned up yet. Some mid scale companies are coming up at the end of the last semester offering packages of around 2.5-3lac/ annum. Its good, but can be improved.
College Events :
We had jashn as the event. Th college is located a bit far, hence the crowd was mostly of our college. We also have a seperate event for sports activities which takes place during February every year. Its quite fun and gives us a good break from the studies schedule.
Fee Structure And Facilities :
The fee is not so expensive as compared to other colleges. It was 69,000 in the 2nd year, then 67,000 and 60,000 in the final year. It was okay. Also we got scholarship which helped us.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
We get scholarship under the minority quota. There are also scholarship available for the EBC students. They get more amount as compared to us. I get 20k every year under the minority quota.
Campus Life :
We haven't got much activities yet except for the yearly sports event. In final year its said the college does provide some industrial visit. Lets hope it helps us in gaining knowledge.
Hostel Facilities :
I stayed at my home, but few of my friends coming from different cities stayed at hostels. They said it was cheap and good.
Alumni/Alumna :
The college isint much old. Hence haven't heard of any alumni network yet.
Exam Structure :
Since its a semester wise pattern, we have 2 internal exams, then comes the practical exams, then we have viva where external faculty comes and asks questions. After that we have our semester external exam.
Faculty :
The professors are very hard working. Our college isint much old, and we have fresh, young teachers who are good in explaining things. They try to make us understand the concepts in a simpler manner. Teachers are helpful. I can say the teaching is going good.
