Remarks :

Overall experience is good it helped me a lot and I came walked out of college as a confident Physician ready to explore the world. The campus was beautiful and administration was strict which had full protection especially for the Girls who resided in campus Ladies Hostel

Entrance Preview :

As I was from out state (Rajasthan) entrance exam was not done during that time. I landed up in this college accidentally when enquiring about some other college while I was in Belgaum and trying to call someone on through PCO. The course was initially not my first choice but now understanding this science everyday is my passion

Course Curriculum Overview :

It was satisfactory to me. Practical training in terms of practicals and clinical exposure was given. The course has not elective options.

Internships Opportunities :

Yes we need to do Internship at Our college he and were given rotary duties in various departments like Medicine, Surgery, Obstetrics and Gynaecology(OBGY), Repertory, Organon and philosophy and even ICU. In Surgery and OBGY we were given chance to assist the surgeons and this gained experience l. As for stipend, Sadly there was no such scenario

Placement Experience :

There was no placement cell at the time but since it's a professional course it didn't need much of placement cell like activities. Majority of them passed out students are into their Private clinics while some have joined the teaching institutions and few are practicing/Placed abroad in countries like USA, Malaysia, Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Qatar etc. No scenario of Campus interview during our time

College Events :

Culture tlfests and Sports fears were annual activities where in there was a huge footfall but the college authories were not too enthusiastic to spend for such activities even after including a certain amount in our fees. Anyways the activities were a great fun

Fee Structure And Facilities :

During those times fee was about 10000-12000 per semester apart from Hostel fee. The fee was nearly affordable to all bit still I think it was a bit higher looking back at the inflation today and inflation that time. The fee used to be deposited semester wise.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

No there were no scholarship for the out of state candidates. For the state selected candidates there may be such plan but I have no idea about it

Campus Life :

As I said in the previous head extracurricular activities were there in form of Annual Cultural and Annual Sports week wherein our inner talent could be explored but then there were not too many opportunities for the same.

Hostel Facilities :

I was residing in the Hostel whose rooms were mostly Twin sharing with good hygiene but not so good Bathrooms. Fee was about 2000 per year (as far as I remember) we had PGs but mostly they opted for residing outside Hostel. There was Mess facility with food quality not so good. (But as I said it's a bit a part of struggle and that makes you versatile)

Alumni/Alumna :

There is an Alumni network but I doubt whether it's very active because seldom we get the news of alumni activities been organized

Exam Structure :

Exam pattern was yearly evaluation and there used to be mid term exam for self evaluation. The lab were tiresome for the First year (A requirement to get accustomed to the hard work) which was later not so tiresome

Faculty :

We had very senior, sincere and experienced faculty who encouraged interaction They used to teach us more from Deductive logic than Inductive logic this making us smarter in thinking process (Which is what especially required to become a successful Homoeopathic Physician)

Homoeopathy is a system which is having a great relevance in the society in case of Health care. BHMS is a fuve and half year course with 4 years of academics and 1 year of internship. Course is having subjects like Anatomy, Physiology, Hom.pharmacy, Pathology & Microbiology ,bSurgery, OBG,Practice of Medicine, Community Medicine ,Materia medica and hom.philosophies . Exams are conducted each year at correct time itself . Monthly tests , Mid term exam and preliminary exams are conducted before the university exam.Students can do research works along with studies. It'll be better if more college programmes are conducted along with academics.

Course Curriculum Overview:

To be honest, BHMS was not my course of choice. I couldn't make it up for the course I wanted so I had to opt for this course. Although in the beginning I was completely lost I don't regret it. Talking about job opportunities, there are a lot, although you won't be earning much in the initial days.
