Remarks :
I like the experience and the exposure im getting at the college. Of course, there are the usual hurdles that every architecture student has to face. The good thing is, we don't get homework, except for design. Everything is digitized and the college is very strict about discipline.
Entrance Preview :
I gave NATA and JEE B.Arch. There is a minimum score that the college decides, for a student to take admission. I have always been fascinated by buildings, and so I chose architecture.
Course Curriculum Overview :
There are theory as well as practical subjects. The course has been good so far. We have studio hours for approx 12 hours every week, and one whole day for Design. Yes, students and teachers both have got their research papers published.
Internships Opportunities :
College doesn't, but there is mandatory practical training. stipend varies from INR 0 to INR 10000. The experience has been great, or so I have been told by my seniors.
Placement Experience :
There is no on-campus placement. However, students have interned in well known firms like Kothari, Matharu, Sangath etc.
College Events :
the annual NASA was held in 2013, and had a budget of INR 1CR.
Fee Structure And Facilities :
1,50,000 (College fee) + 50,000 for hostel A bit expensive.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
NO, but there are frequent design competitions which provide cash prize.
Hostel Facilities :
Hostel is compulsory for my batch. They amended the guidelines for 2017 batch and day scholars can also join.
Alumni/Alumna :
I'm in contact with a lot of alumni, and yes they contribute i the overall development of college and students.
Exam Structure :
External Exams are chill, but the weeks during final portfolio includes major tests, which are internals. Those weeks are a bit hectic.
Faculty :
Most of the faculty is experienced in teaching their respective subjects. we get new faculty every year as well. The standard of teaching is okay. There are some EXCEPTIONAL teachers, Like Ar, Anurag Roy Sir, who has a unique teaching method and inspires us to study beyond the classroom.
