Course Curriculum Overview :
I chose this course because I was interested in research. The student-to-faculty ratio here is 30:1. They all are postdocs and all of them have done their postdocs from good foreign universities. Here mid sems are conducted every month in total 2 midsems and one endsem is conducted every semester, the exams are not too tough if you go to classes and understand things conceptually.
Internships Opportunities :
One can do an internship under any prof. From any part of the country but from an affiliated good uni. During summer or winter. There is no stipend provided as far as I know. But one under some scheme might avail it.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
The fee structure for the general students is around 40k per sem. And it's a little bit less for the reserved students. There are many scholarships here like INSPIRE, KVPY, and merit cum mean (for reserved students). I got the merit cum mean for 2 semesters.
Campus Life :
The annual fest that my college organizes is INSOMNIA which is conducted every year around oct or nov. Talking about the library its the best thing in our college it is an 8-story building which almost consists of everything you want but more of science. Sports and extracurricular activities are also very good from cricket, badminton, football, lawn tennis, volleyball, and basketball they have everything every year IISM is organized in which people from all iisers compete in various sports against each other.
Admission :
One should clear iat which is iiser aptitude test. Everything is available on the iiser website. The fee concession is there for the reserved students. Everything is fine regarding the admissions process.
