Bad remarks are they take so much money for different purposes compared to other colleges like supple fees, attendance shortage fees, etc
Entrance Preview :
There's no need of any entrance exam to join.just they take the interview. As I joined late I could take only this they were some other courses also but in them this I found better. And my other option was nutrition which was filled up already
Course Curriculum Overview :
It was a new course called b.voc industrial microbiology containing more than 20 subjects had a good scope further..it based on medical research and is very interesting since it has experimental part more than theory..industrial in the sense we have scope towards factories,pharmacies,quality control and assurance,etc,. Our batch is the second batch to the course cause it was just started a year prior by the HOD OF MICROBIOLOGY DEPARTMENT.
Internships Opportunities :
Yes our college offers internship but it's a paid internship.we have to pay to the college.. we can also prefer to work outside of the college. College permits and gives letter having respective internship place name.
Placement Experience :
St.francis is well known college for placements and can easily get any job offers since it is a well recognized college across South and is in top 15. Wipro,Amazon,Deloitte,google,synchrony financials,many hospitals,etc,. Packages were based on the qualification,skills,communication,percentage etc.
College Events :
St.francis is so popular in the events conducted. Different streams had different fests. They were cultural fests like telugu day,women's day,etc,. Events were even for the teaching and non-teaching staff. Events were so popular that many film stars attend as chief guests,intra and inter fests with many programs. Events were given in the newspapers too..
Fee Structure And Facilities :
Our course fees were 20k for the first year and 21k and 25k for 2nd and 3rd years respectively. Since it was a new course the fees are feasible. But for other courses, it is little expensive. But it'll have all the facilities. And separate fees for internships.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
Am not sure about these cause I've never tried. Maybe we have scholarships
Campus Life :
Peacfull campus and so spacious. We can even have our free time with friends In the campus it self.theres no gender ratio since it is a womans college only. Many workshops were conducted like glee.were so many extracurricular activities also like certificate courses, different sports,NSS,BBC etc., State level national level competitions were also conducted.
Alumni/Alumna :
Not much known about this. But there were students who are in a better place and came to our college as a special guest too. Off course, seniors are helpful everywhere. Since we take suggestions from them.
Exam Structure :
Exams are just two internal and the external examination. For our course labs were very frequent and very hectic day it would be. Internal exams were of 40marks 20 with skill tests and the rest theory. Best part was skill tests were we can score so easily.
Admission :
Percentage,good academics is mandatory. During admissions I just went to the college took my form and filled with respective certificates..since I had a good percentage in inter.they have given me admission.now everything is online. Now we can apply online through our college website. Giving all the details online. Eligible according to there percentages.
Faculty :
Well qualified faculty are chosen and there interest towards subject makes us get more interested. They have Very innovative ideas of teaching,well mannered,well organized,etc,. There were lecturers done with phd in our college itself and some were pursuing simultaneously.
