Campus fields and gardens ate very good.
Our hostel is like five star hotel that's why I like it.

1st exam time is very short so that we can't prepare for exam properly.
There is no lab equipments according our needs.

Course Curriculum Overview :

I want to become a successful civil engineer and to be placed in famous companies. A department has 12 to 15 faculties members like professors lab assistants etc. The semester exam is medium level. There is a 60 students in every department.

Class Size : 60Course Fees : INR 12060 per year

Internships Opportunities :

Some companies do not offer internships on campus in our university. But Many students get internships off campus. Every student had to do their own projects last year. The project mark is 100.

Placement Experience :

The fourth-year students for whose course duration is 4 years and third-year students for whose course duration is 3 years are eligible for campus placement. TCS has visited our university. The Heights package is 16lpa in the intern company.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

The total cost of study college fees is around 47k-48k per year. My PG cost is 15 thousand per month because am not in a hostel area. I will get the svmcm that's amount is around 60000. I don't get any jobs till now through the campanies

Campus Life :

All the books of every department are available in the library. There is annual fests are conducted every year in our university. The sports tournaments like cricket, football and volleyball are conducted every year.

Admission :

Students must have 60%in pcm. The application form is available on the official website of the aliah university. The students who got the the60%marks in 10+2 can Apply for the available courses at Aliah University

The most honest and unbiased review of IIEST Shibpur

Placement Experience:

Students from 7th semester onwards are elegible for campus placements. Some of the companies that visits for placements are Google, microsoft, amazon, pwc, TI, accenture, PPEL, etc. A total of 920 recruiters were there which offered 753 offers to the students and out of them around 75-78% were placed. The highest placement package was offered by microsoft for 51 lpa as PPO to 14 students and the role was IDC. The average package is around 7.5 lpa. I am planning to appear in GATE exam and go for masters in IITs after completion of my degree where i will be persuing my further studies in transportation engineering.

Overall only one thing is important is about hardwork with smart work . You have to work on your skills rest college is there to help you to show the path from your college to carrier .

Placement Experience:

From seventh semester onwards companies are coming to visit in our colleges . You will give exams in four phases that are coding , technical, aptitude and after qualifying all simple interview would be taken . Just develop your skills then surely you will get job . Highest package is about 10 lakh per annum and average is about 5 to 6 lakh per annum. The percentages of getting placed are about 60 to 70 percent . Just keep in mind that choose any language like c ++ , java , python and become pro into it . You will definitely get job .

Very appropriate college for all kind of students !! I recommend it.

Course Curriculum Overview:

B.Tech in CSE is future proof and a very good course for IT sector jobs and I was always excited working in these companies, that's why I choose the course. There are 10-12 faculties present in every department. Each faculty is M.Tech qualified and Drs. Their teaching quality is very good. 4 internal theory and 2 Lab exams happen each semester. The questions are standard, regular, and sincere students can easily pass.

Remarks:

Remarks:

As seeing the college from outside i expected each room tobe AC but unfortunately it's not during the summer days it's pretty hot in the top floors but it's bearable canteen food items are cheap in respect to outside and wifi isn't free and I hate that.
