Course Curriculum Overview :
My niece is highly interested in this profession. So she chose this program. The faculties are really good. They are highly qualified and experienced people. The Faculty Student ratio is 1:10. Majority of faculties are Ph.D. holders and few of them also hold experience in litigation practices. The teaching method is very good in that they have a practical approach and that's the best part. There are 2 exams every semester, 1 is the Mid-term exam and the other is the Semester final exam.
Internships Opportunities :
My niece has completed 2 rounds of internships till now. She has learnt a lot through these internships in NGO. She will be further going to different courts for the same. The important task she got to learn through this is communication skills and also learnt drafting up to some extent.
Placement Experience :
The College provides internships and placements to all students who have opted for placement assistance. The students are sent to internships right from 1st semester. After every semester they are sent to internships on different levels like NGOs, Trial Courts, District Courts, High Court, Legal Firm, etc. My niece is planning to practice litigation after completing of course
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
The fee is a bit high but is worth spending. Every year the fees increase. For the law program, the scholarships are available on CLAT AIR-based. The fee was 180000 per year when we took admission to the program. We have to pay the fee semester-wise.
Campus Life :
Campus life is very lively and happening. It is a huge lush green campus with all the necessary amenities like AC Smart Classrooms with CC TV surveillance, a library with 10k+ books, a sports ground, a library, studios, Labs, an Auditorium, an Amphitheatre, etc. There are events and fests conducted in different months for different colleges in the University. They conduct educational events like National and International Moot Court Competitions, Youth Parliament, Ahmedabad Design Week, etc. Also, they celebrate festivals like Ganesh Chaturthi, Navratri, Janmashtami, Onam, etc
Hostel Facilities :
We have taken the mess facility here for Lunch. The food is yummy and hygienic. There are 3 more canteens on campus which have multiple cuisines like South Indian, Chinese, North Indian, Mexican, Italian, etc. The prices for food are moderate. The whole campus is a pure vegetarian campus. The weekly menu is decided in a mess.
Admission :
My niece has been admitted to UWSL, KU. The admission process is easy but the entrance exam was a bit difficult. There were 2 steps in the admission process. Step 1 was a written paper - KUAT and step 2 was a Personal Interview. Both took place in online mode so it became easy for us. We found the application fee on the website and the fee for the same was 1000.
