Remarks :

The university is great. Campus is very very huge. One full Sector and half of another sector of Chandigarh is covered by the University. We have all the amneties which are world class including 3 swimming pools, tennis courts, gyms football grounds and many othes. There are many active clubs too. And we are the head of current Rotaract club of North region. Collectively university is awesome

Entrance Preview :

I entered the University as a student to engineering wing. Admissions are based on JEE MAINS for Engg. wing. 12th class result does'nt matter. I got a decent score in my MAINS and thus landed up here. My course is totally dependent on the cut-off of this year. I had nothing specific in my mind.

Course Curriculum Overview :

The course is purely balanced. Teachers have made the curriculum in such a way that we get a full productive use of the time. We are prepared with basics of even workshops like welding and electronics. Everyday there is 2-3 hours fixed practical session. Different subjecy each day. Doubt classes and Ethics classes are also included in the course.

Internships Opportunities :

College provides good internships most of which are stipend. The companie are not big enough though. But experience is still awesome. My seniors have told me much about the fun and experience they got. Average stipend is Rs 4000 per month.

Placement Experience :

Placement scenario is good. Last year max students got the average package of 5lacs. Few got higher too. Approx 70% got placed. Major companies include BSNL, IBM and Infosys.

Fee Structure And Facilities :

Fees is very nominal. First Sem costs Rs 40,000. Second sem costs Rs 40,197. From third sem, it costs around only Rs 30,000.Few scholarships are also available for the students. In addition, fees is further lessened for the EWS quota.

Faculty :

They are really cool. All are very friendly and make adjustments with the students for attendence and other stuff with ease. Although, they don't generally give special time for doubts with some exceptions. Most faculty is PhD from PU only. According to me approx 75% are PhD. Standard of few teachers is high but teaching is not that high. Coz they posses deep knowledge but lack skills to impart the knowledge to the students.

Placement Experience:

For third semester students are eligible for campus placement. Microsoft, Amazon, IBM, Hitachi and many more companies are visit for placement in chandigarh university. Highest package is 24 lakhs average is 6 lakhs. Above 80 percent of students are placed. I plan is take campus placement in 3rd semester.

Placement Experience:

The placement of the college is good but this year no of placement is less as compare to the last year. In B.E. From 6 semster student were eligible for placement and all this big MNC visit the campus for placement like Infosys, Microsoft,etc.this 9000+ offer were there. Near about 70% student get placement. My plans after the degree I want to became the data analytics after the completion of course.

Placement Experience:

The placements are average in CU. Students become eligible for campus placements from 3rd year onwards Many companies such as TCS,Google, Microsoft and 9000+ offers were made during placement times.The highest package in CU was 24 lakh CTC and avg package is around 7 lakh.

Placement Experience:

Campus placement is 93 percent this year . Companies start visiting department in the month of September. Students are eligible for placement as they enter in the final year (7 semester) . The average package is around 5.5 Lakhs per annum and highest package is 12 lakh per annum. Students can go in field of pharmaceutical industry, oil and petroleum, fertiliser, paints, chemicals etc . Or students can opt for higher studies masters, MBA , abroad opportunities. Around 45 companies visited for placements with average 5 offers per company.

Placements starts from sixth semester. Students are free to register as per company eligibility criterion. Companies like Amazon, jp Morgan, Flipkart, dbs, Watchguard, and many more comes for recruitment. From 7th semester on an average we get atleast one company per day.

Honest review about Chandigarh university

Placement Experience:

The placement are good, you will see many companies visit the campus such as Amazon Google Wipro TCS connivance Accenture Deloitte and many more. The main baad thing is their placements is that if you get a offer from any company irrespective of package then you have to accept and there is no option to deny the offer aane of you don't join then you will get debated from placement process.

Remarks:

I chose this college because I was not able to get admission in pec and this college was the only option. Academics wise its good. Faculties are good. The bad side is the college life you expect its almost zero there. No social life. There are only 5-600 students in the campus. And pretty bad cafeteria.

Admission:

To get the admission here you have to appear for jee mains. And according to the cutoffs you will get the admission. I prepared for it with my normal tutions.
