Course Curriculum Overview :

Basically, I didn't get the course that I wanted to get. I thought of getting a seat in CSE but since I have applied to all other allied branches I got Artificial intelligence and data science. Faculty: Student ratio is about 1:60.In our department we have both senior faculty and newly joined faculty. But the newly joined faculty are more and they are not at all good at teaching. We simply go to their classes for attendance. But the senior faculties teach extremely well. So I would say that my branch contains more bad teaching teachers than good teaching ones. we will have 2 mid-exams and 1 end-exam per semester. We can easily pass them even if we study before the night of the exam.

Internships Opportunities :

JP Morgan and Oracle are two big companies that come to our college for Internships. They provide 50k per month. There will be huge competition for them since the applicable members are more than 1500 students in our college. And also we have startups in our college like Unplatforms. They will offer a stipend of 10k per month.

Placement Experience :

Placements here are best in private colleges of Hyderabad. From 3'2 we are eligible for placements. Companies like JP Morgan, Oracle, Amazon, TCS, Wipro, Tata, Service Now, Paypal and Qualcomm will visit our college, and on average big companies offers 5 students and small companies offer 30 students. The highest package as of now is 45lpa and the company that is offered is Amazon. The average package is 6.5 LPA. The percentage of students placed is around 70%. My plan after the degree is to secure a high-paying job.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

The fee for my branch is 1,30,000 per year. But since I joined through B-category there is a facility for fee reimbursement. It is the only financial assistance present. Sports quota is also present. We don't have any scholarships other than that. I haven't received any job/ internship yet.

Campus Life :

Life is campus is exciting on some days and boring on other days. Our annual technical fest is called 'Convergence' and the cultural fest is called 'Sintillashunz'. Convergence takes place in the month of January/February while Sintillashunz takes place in the month of April/May. We have a vast library consisting of all the books related to our semester and even journals. There is a digital library too. Classrooms are decent not too good not too bad.VNR is famous for its legacy in sports. Interested can always join in any sport they want provided they need to stay even after college till 7 since training will be present. There are many clubs both technical and non-technical which are run by students under the guidance of teachers. To name a few Livewire is a dance club,CSI is a technical student chapter.

Admission :

I have received admission into this college through B-category which is through Jee Mains. B-cat application form is provided on their website. If you search VNR in Google you will get their website. On the basis of our ranks, they will be allocating the seats. On the basis of Jee mains, we used to have 2 rounds. Application fees for me were 4k. I want to improve the transparency in admission through B-cat by showing the ranks of all applicants and displaying the ranks of selected people.

The highest package is 3600000 per anum and the average package is 500000 per anum. More than 60% of students are getting placements.
