Course Curriculum Overview :
I chose this course as it aligns with my career goals. The student-faculty ratio is 35 students per teacher (specialisation basis). The faculty is well-versed and highly qualified and the methods adopted by them are really impactful. The term exams were conducted on time as per the year handbook, and it's easy to pass them if one has studied well enough.
Placement Experience :
Students become placement eligible during the 5th Semester. Numerous MNCs visit the campus for recruitment including the Big 4, Barclays, Accenture, Deutsche Bank, Amazon, Zomato, etc. The highest package offered last year was 10 LPA, the lowest being 3 LPA. The average package ranges from 5-6 LPA. About 98.6% get placed every year. I am currently pursuing CFA and hope to be placed in a very good company.
Fees and Financial Aid :
There's a 10% hike in the fees per annum. I did not avail any scholarship or financial assistance. I am yet to be placed for a job, so I cannot say much on that matter. However, according to what I've heard from my seniors, the placement is really good.
Campus Life :
The annual fest is Sympulse which happens every year around Feb-March. The library gets updated at regular intervals with the latest books and other materials. A digital library is also available for the students. The classrooms have smartboards that make studying quite fun. Varieties of sports options are offered such as Rugby, Football, Cricket, Volleyball, Swimming, Basketball, etc. There are numerous cells, clubs, boards, etc, that are run by students.
Admission :
The admission process was very easy. Anyone who wishes to apply can check the college website. The application fee is INR 2000 (non-refundable). I did not avail myself of reservation benefits. No, according to me, the application process is good only.
Interview Experience :
The GD/PI topics were quite general and involved hypothetical questions that tested my skills and awareness. The questions pertained to LR, QA, VA, and CA topics. I prepared for these rounds by watching videos posted on YouTube.
