Remarks :

some teachers were very co-operative while some were very partial in favour of locals. The biggest problem for the students of other states is the use of local language. Rest college is spread in about 160 acres of land & infrastructure is in developing stage.

Entrance Preview :

AIEEE 2011 (All India Rank-129128)I opted for this college through individual PTU online open counselling. Only document verification & formal introduction was required at the time of admission. Seeing the past record of EE branch of this college on websites & reviews from near ones, i opted for Electrical engg branch in this college

Course Curriculum Overview :

EE branch in itself is very good but in this college, as I reached the end of 2nd year, the brilliant faculties of EE branch left the college & we were left with only junior teachers (one or two above junior). Practical learning was very much the focus as labs were good & in fine working condition. Periodical labs were in the routine. PhD course students undertook several research & also we were encuraged to build several working models with innovation in focus. Elective subjects were also available such as Non conventional energy sources, computer graphics, database management system, Fuzzy logics & systems & many others.

Internships Opportunities :

Yes, firstly it provided a 4 weeks in-campus training in different work shops & then a complete 6 months(8th sem) internship out of campus at an orgn of our own choice. NO stipend amount was given in either of the internship period. Overall the experience was good especially of the 4 weeks in-campus training.

Placement Experience :

Placements were disappointing. Only 10 to 15 out of 60 at an avg got placed during my course period(2011-15) at an avg packg of Rs 2-2.5lakh p.a. No any major companies visited our campus, only little known companies of delhi & bathinda such as LEAD group, Mahashakti transformers, etc visited the campus. Majority of students were placed in off campus plcements.

College Events :

EE deptt level fest was conducted only twice, in 2014(WAVOR) & 2015(SPARK). College level fest (TARANNUM) was conducted every year & they were really big. Many national famed & local famed artists were invited such as Indian idol famed singer, punjabi comedian ghuggi, punjabi singer bhagwant mann & many others. Oraganisation was well as different committees & their respective heads were given the duty. Average footfall was 2000-2500.

Fee Structure And Facilities :

Being a semi government college, i thought fees to be on the lower side but it was bit on the higher side. 1st sem-Rs49,125 2nd sem-Rs41,100 3rd sem-Rs42,125 4th sem-Rs41,100 5th sem-Rs43,025 6th sem-Rs42,250 7th sem-Rs43,025 8th sem-Rs37,800 Above sem wise fees, I paid for the sessn-2011-15. Present fee structure might be very different

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

Yes they provided, but only to students from punjab & not to outsiders. No, i didint availed any. No, they didnt helped in getting loans.

Campus Life :

It was okk in extracurriculars. Opportunities in collg level fest, deptt level fest & blood donation camp were organised periodically. It all depends on your boldness to participate in the activities. I participated in few like Quiz, debates, stall formation, etc. Facilities were also Okk.

Hostel Facilities :

Yes, i was residing in hostel. For 1st two yrs, sharing rooms were available & for rest 3 sems (8th sem was purely training), single rooms were there. Yes, PGs were made available at the end of 2nd yr. Rs4200 per sem was charged (included in the above sem wise fees). Food was of somewhat above average quality.

Alumni/Alumna :

Least, only interaction with few bcz they were not in contact with anyone. No facility was provided for such interaction. No contribution from any alumni was there.

Exam Structure :

Labs were not too frequent & they were supervised good (THE BIGGEST PROBLEM WAS OF LANGUAGE, they spoke pure PUNJABI & i was from hindi background, more in labs & also somewhat in class)

Faculty :

Faculties after 2nd yr were very average (the situation was that even the b.tech pass outs taught in most of the sems). Few teachers were very interactive while most of them came, taught & left the class leading to boredom. All in all AVERAGE teaching level.

Placement Experience:

The placements of the college is good and differs in every course, the highest placement record is 45.5lpa which is going to be increased the number if companies visiting is also increasing which increases the number of placements and the average package is 8lpa. If I can't get a on campus placement then I will try for off campus placement. Students of final year of their course will be eligible for the placements if they fulfill the company putted criterias. As college promised the 100% placement but it is not right only some students were getting placed who have some extra skills and knowledge Various companies visited the college every year like Autodesk, Cisco, XPERI, Toki, Accenture, Edoofa, delta x, RT camp etc and provides a good number of placements

Placement Experience:

so every year different companies visit our campus and people from the fourth year are able to see for the placement. Firstly, we have to clear a written entrance test once clear that the company will interview them and get the job so the highest package last year went 25,00,00 per annum. However, the average package is six lakh per annum. It completely depends upon your CGPA and your personal skills, how much you groom yourself to be fit for that company. Tech and non-tech companies both visit.

Placement Experience:

If we have skills, we get placements here, and if we work hard, we can get up to 50 LPA. Most of the renowned companies will come for placements, for example, Microsoft, Google, etc. TCS will give a high number of job offers, but the package is low. It all depends on you and your skills. The placement percentage in Computer Science is about 80-90%, and the average is 7 LPA.

Placement Experience:

There were many companies like Microsoft, Infosys, TCS, Google, Wal-Mart and more than 800+ companies visited for campus placements. I will prefer for startup if I will not get the desirable placements offers.

Placement Experience:

CT University has best placement record till now. They have 400+ recruitment partners. Companies like byjus, paytm, infosys, max healthcare and capgemini have already recruited students from CT University. CTU also have corporate resource centre in ct university , to provide ample opportunities for full time internships, on job trainings and placement in reputed companies. Also, students are doing internships with stipends within the university also as CTU ambassadors along wwith theirt study, so this should be a good enough proof of the quality of the skills being imparted to the students.

The placements are good. A lot of companies like PayTm, Maruti Suzuki, etc come every year and recruit a large number of students. The placement process is of several rounds and tests. There is an Entrepreneur Cell that helps students enhance their skills.
