College of nursing Kolkata medical College is the best which have good qualities of teachers, enough classroom, best technique for it. This college has it's own hospital through which student can give care of the patient in regular basis

Course Curriculum Overview :

Nowadays, the need for medical practitioners and nurses is endless. In the last 1.5 years, the pandemic has revealed to us the importance of the healthcare industry and what difference right and timely care can make. And I always wanted to give care and comfort to needy people. That's why I choose to nurse. There is enough teacher for each subject. Faculty members are well qualified and have high knowledge of nursing. First, they teach the theory part then they help us to know more through practicals. There are 6 months after the semester exam.mAnd after completion of any chapter, class tests and surprise tests are taken. In exams, there are many tricky questions through which we can gain more knowledge in the nursing field.

Internships Opportunities :

In nursing, there is ward duty which starts in the first year. In our every ward duty, we are oriented with patients and able to give them care. School of nursing, medical College and hospital has its own hospital which helps the student to give to the patient daily. and gain good knowledge about the field. In last, an internship is started. our seniors told us that internship is also good in our college.

The fee structure is very low in government colleges. Campus Life :

The annual fest's name is college fest. Book by many writers of every subject is available in the library. There are 5 classrooms for teaching and practical labs, an exam hall, and a seminar hall for sports. Students can also participate in extracurricular activities like music, dance, yoga.

Admission :

Eligibility of the course is 12th pass in science background with 45% marks and qualifying jenpas-ug entrance exam. The application form is available on wbjee website. Application fees are GENERAL/EWS- 500/- SC/ST/OBC-A/OBC-B- 400/- The application form is available on January General category seat -50% SC/ST/OBC -A/OBC-B/PWD Candidate -40% The admission process is very cooperative and good

Placement Experience:

The Student experience: Guide to and Realities of College Life.

Course Curriculum Overview:

This college is Makaut affiliated so the course curriculum is entriely based on MAKAUT University. I always wanted to do or pursue something where mainly the laboratory is involved and chemistry and biology is my favourites, so this BMLT course is absolutely suitable for me. The curriculum prepares us on a practical level, we've practicals that our faculty teaches us in dedicated laboratories. This BMLT course has different subjects like biochemistry, microbiology, pathology, haematology, anatomy and physiology etc and also minor is computer, which is necessary in today's world. There are side subjects too which are essential for knowledge and development. I think the syllabus can be more latest otherwise everything is good. Examination takes place in semesters, two semester completes 1yr. Mainly time of exams are December/January and June. Difficultly of examination is okay, not to wasy, not too hard, one have to study well to pass and secure good marks.

BMLT REVIEW

Placement Experience:

For Bsc. In mlt there is no campus placement option available. However after 5th semester the students are given a mandatory 6 months internship program in various Labrotories. This is a part of the academic curriculum. However after the 6 month internship the chances of absorption in the Labrotory is higher. Mostly all the students get absorbed somewhere or the other.
