Remarks :

As far as I studied over there,there was many opportunities for students to develope and excel in thier performance and our collage gave a very good support for our developent internally and externally

Entrance Preview :

No my collage comes under Anna university so I came under counselling

Course Curriculum Overview :

My course is based on biomedical so basically we learn about bio equipment's. Our collage mainly focuses on practical sessions more than theoretical session.

Internships Opportunities :

Yea, the collage itself provided internship for us and even recommended us for other companies internship programmes

Placement Experience :

As my course is a rarest course. We had only few companies who came for placement but placed nearly all students from my course

College Events :

We used to have cultural technical symposium and marginal fest's yearly so we had a very good exposure and the financial support for those events was fully supported by our collage

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

Yes,the collage provided scholarship for those students who scored university rank and it also helped in getting loans from banks

Campus Life :

We used to have many extracurricular programs in our collage which gave us abundant knowledge and exposure. And we also used to have many talent programs in which we could excel ou talents and increase them

Alumni/Alumna :

Our alumni used to give us many speech programs which collage provided them and us a chance to interact. Our alumni used to contribute their level best for our collage

Exam Structure :

Yes ,as our syllabus is mainly based on practical sessions so we have alternate periods which was very easy for us to concentrate in them

Faculty :

Our faculty are very much qualified and highly knowledge people

The campus placements start in the 7th semester. Due to the recession, there is a lot of backlash when it comes to placements. It has been quite poor for the last few years. But it depends on how the student is prepared for the competitive world.

Reality of Veltech

Placement Experience:

Placement is good for the CSE and IT departments. You can't expect placement if you belong to other departments, there is a placement for the other departments but very less. Campus placement starts in 3rd year itself. They have special classes for Aptitude skills and interview preparation GD and necessary preparations for job placement opportunities. 90% of students from CSE and IT get placed. The average package is 7.5 LPA you can expect a minimum of 3.5 LPA. If you are willing to go for higher studies you can contact the international relation office they have good relations with other universities abroad, they have students exchange programs, research scholarships etc if you are not planning to seat in placement. I plan for higher studies and research after my Btech.

Best place ever visited. My Sweet College.

Placement Experience:

The placements in my college is very good and top companies hire students across every branch with a good amount of package. At the end of 3rd year every student is elegible for the placements in college. About 20 to 25 companies visited for campus hiring and approximately 700 offers were given across the college from every branch. 60 percentage of students got placed in the campus hiring program. Highest package is 24 LPA and the aveyis 5LPA. My plan is to get into a good MNC company which is related to Aerospace technology.
