Remarks :

The college in itself is a great experience, but there is always scope for improvement. WiFi and lab facilities need to be worked upon. As well as the washrooms. Apart form that, BMCC is a wonderful place to be at and will give you an unparalleled experience.

Entrance Preview :

I took the CET for the Bachelor's and scored somewhere around 130 out of 150. But now that the college is autonomous, the entrance procedure must have changed. There was no other procedure apart from the merit list.

Course Curriculum Overview :

My specialization in BBM was International Business. The first year was focused upon general business activities and processes. The second and third year, we started learning in depth about the international markets and were given more practical tasks such as assessing the industries after an industrial visit or mock product launches. The final semester, we had to submit a practical research project on one of our electives through the curriculum.

Internships Opportunities :

The college does not provide internship but encourages students to look for internship opportunities in their second year so that they have practical experience.

Placement Experience :

The placement cell was largely inactive in my year but since the college has gotten anonymous, I have heard that the placement opportunities have grown. In my year, certain MNCs like Wipro and TCS visited the colleges with an average package of 3.5 lpa.

College Events :

The college has some great events such as Troika, Astitva and E-merge. These events are organized by the students and are quite well known. Troika is the biggest of all events and hosts around 3000 participants every year. Astitva is a smaller cultural counterpart of Troika and Emerge is an intra college event for the freshers. Apart from this, BMCC also has a Tedx unit.

Fee Structure And Facilities :

The fee structure is quite feasible with professional courses at around 30000 a year. I am not aware of the current fee structure after the college has gotten autonomous, but Im assuming the fee must have hiked a bit due to the change in status. Still, BMCC is quite feasible as compared to its counterparts/.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

I'm not sure about loan facilities but the management does provide some scholarship to underprivileged students. The B.Com division has a scholarship for girls.

Campus Life :

The campus life is great if you are looking for the perfect mix of learning and fun. I made some of my best friends in BMCC and have great memories there. The events go on year long and the life in BMCC is truly exemplary. The gender ratio is balanced and the environment is safe and friendly. Eve teasing is absolutely not tolerated and the faculty is quite broad minded. BMCC has a huge ground which allows the sportspeople to engage in the sports of their choice.

Hostel Facilities :

The girls hostel is a new air conditioned building which is clean and the food is also great. The hostel fees are feasible and the hostel is within the college campus. It is a beautiful location and attracts a lot of students. The boys hostel on the other hand is under renovation and I am not clear on the details for the same.

Alumni/Alumna :

There is an Alumni network but it is not extremely active. On the other hand, the senior students and the network that you make during your tenure in BMCC is extremely helpful post college. I have gotten a lot of recommendations and clients through the network. The seniors are very helpful in terms of guidance too.

Exam Structure :

The exams are conducted at the end of every semester and the curriculum is quite relaxing by itself. There are two types of exams, internal and external. There are class tests apart from that, but that depends on teacher to teacher. Some teachers take weekly tests while some don't bother at all. As long as you attend the classes, you score decent in the internal examinations.

Admission :

I filled the online application, gave the CET, and waited for my result. Three merit lists were put up one after the other and I was in the first list, so I got the admission. The admission process in itself was quite easy, I had to fill the admission form and pay the fees to book my seat. Then they informed me of the starting dates of the college.

Faculty :

The faculty of the Professional courses is very motivated and talented. A lot of them are industry professionals who know the nitty grit ties of the business itself. They refrain from the traditional teaching methods and make the sessions interactive. The faculty is extremely supportive and will guide you where you are struggling voluntarily. ts is a very friendly environment too.

MIT WPU offers on campus placements to its students. Students are eligible for placements from their final year. Reputed companies like Amazon, Flipkart, Wipro, and more hire students from MIT WPU every year. The highest package for BBA is 12 LPA and the average package is 6 LPA. Most students are able to secure placements and many of them get good packages.

Course Curriculum Overview:

1. The reason I choose this stream I also don't know currently but yeah this course helped me a lot. I didn't knew anything about the course I thought about taking it and later I took it . Nothing like I saw any specific aspects of the curriculum but whoever is going to join see carefully what are the aspects in the course. 2. As I said I choose this randomly it made me understood many things the business world , money flows , profit loss in real world and many business, financial and corporate aspects .. I learned a lot by choosing BBA. 3. I think the course should have the real time implementation in their syllabus. More new things in this fast changing world .New aspects as the students will know the real time knowledge about those aspects. 4. Time used to be like 8 am to 10 am ( sem exams ). I think the timing can be shifted to 9 am so that it will be more convenient for students who live far away from college . And difficulty level.. see it depends upon students.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The exams are held on a regular basis. The difficulty level of these exams is easy to medium. One can choose from several specialisation subjects so that they can learn the subject of their interest. The teaching method involves using books and power point presentation.

Placement Experience:

Students from the fifth semester become eligible for the final placements. Many companies come to the college for campus placements, some of them are Deloitte, Infosys, tresvista, byjus, toppers.com, Wipro, Indigo, etc. Generally, packages offered by the companies range from 1 lakh to 10 lakhs. The highest package was 28 lakhs offered by Deloitte in the year 2020-2021. 50-60% of students get placed every year. Some go for placements and some for higher studies. I am also planning to go for MBA.
