Review for sambhram institute of technology, Bangalore

Dislikes

  • The campus is not very big as compared to other colleges.
  • There are lack of some outdoor sports activities.

Course Curriculum Overview :

I choose this course as the college has good faculty in the ECE department. The faculty: student ratio is 1:85. The faculty are well qualified in their respective field and are very supportive. There are Three internal exams held before the end-semester exams.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

The fee for this course is 85000 per annum and the hostel fee is 70000 per annum. Students who are from a poor financial backgrounds and have decent grades are given scholarships. Also, Karnataka students can get government scholarships through the government scholarship portal.

Campus Life :

The annual fest is held every year in the month of June and is known as vibez. The college has one central library which has books for every department student. Sports activities are held regularly for the students interested in them.

Admission :

The student needs to pass 12 standards in science background with maths as a mandatory subject. The application form can be availed through the college website portal or one can get through the administration office. Seats are reserved for students who have qualified for KCET and COMEDK exams.

Placement Experience:

Students are eligible for placement from the early stages as 4th semester itself and many companies visited the campus during my 4th semester and one of them was finacle which is associated with Infosys and they also provide internships from 5th to 8th semester. As much as 800 students get placed every year. As my future plans is to do higher studies I will not be opting for campus placement and recruitment. But I must say that they are very good at it.

From the 7th semester, students become eligible for campus selection. The company visited like TCS, Infosys, Vibro, etc. The percentage of placement is 50 percent. My plan is to be placed in a company and continue post-graduation.
