Entrance Preview :
This university organizes a UGET undergraduate entrance test for students seeking admission in bachelor courses. I opt this college because it ranked 3rd all over India in forensic science ug course, which currently I am studying here.
Course Curriculum Overview :
My course is bachelor degree in forensic science. It is the very demanding course in upcoming years, not only in India but all over the world. It is science used to solve criminal cases for judiciary purpose. There should be minimum 140 to 150 marks in UGET for an unreserved category to enroll in university.
Internships Opportunities :
Yes my college provide internship. But as I am new to college I don't have broad knowledge about it.
Placement Experience :
Placements ratio is high. As it is the only university in india from where the highest number of jrf evolves. The net qualified are from here, and they can get jobs at State forensic science laboratory , SAGAR. And any cfsl or sfsl. But as I am new to college I don't have broad knowledge about it.
College Events :
Our university organise many events As I have seen in 5 months, From starting an orientation program was organised. Then , An rock concert was organised. Then preparation for the youth festival ,in which dance, debate, drama, poetry were held. And now gour jayanti is going to organise .
Fee Structure And Facilities :
As this is the central university, Therefore fee structure is not very high. It is feasible, And very much cheaper. With a1 quality education and facilities. But their mode of payment is panic. Different department charges different fee. And mine is ₹275 per semester. That is tution fee . Else everything is alright and upto the mark.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
Scholarships are available For meritholder students and many other scholarship are there. as I am new to college I don't have broad knowledge about it.
Campus Life :
Okaayyy The great campus is very much great. It is really covering 1300 acres of land. And departments are very far from one another. Even 1km far. Each department have their own departmental library and university have a central library. Gender ratio does not vary more. It is healthy ratio I guess. Utd doesn't care for sports of their students but it have a gym and physical education department.
Hostel Facilities :
Hostel facilities are not good for boys , It's like the government hostel with dirty toilets, And unhealthy and dirty water. No Warden were available and no one to look after the wards. And the mess , It is terrible. There is no any mess in UG hostel. If you want to eat in mess you will have to go at the PG hostel mess. And the food is not good quality. I don't like the food of there. And Single room allocated for 2 students. Yes room is good @ ₹ 1645 per semester.
Alumni/Alumna :
Seniors are very helpful and having a friendly nature. They are always eager to help in academic and in any help you want.
Exam Structure :
Yeah Exams are not very tough but not easy as we think. It is above then average. I think. Practical experience is good. Practical labs are hygienic and well maintained and equipped with technology. Classes are longer and with leaving a tiredness. But it follow proper guidelines for UGC , for welfare of students.
Admission :
At the starting of 1st week of April forms are filled online with payment of 800 to 1000 .and submitted offline at the university central office. Then result will arrive at the end of June . Then on the basis of merit marks og UGET you will be selected . Counseling is always offline. Counseling usually start from July and ends up within August.
Faculty :
Faculty in college is very much experienced almost all faculty are jrf or phd. I have studied from teachers having with 40 years teaching experience. You can contact with faculty via official website of university. And you can even get the mobile number for further details.
