Remarks :

The college life here is pretty good but the placement these days are only reducing for various branches because they are taking more than enough number of admission in a batch.

Entrance Preview :

UPESAT, My AIR was 2171 and I choose this college because it was the only college which offered the AUTOMOTIVE DESIGN ENGINEERING course in India.

Course Curriculum Overview :

As this is the one of the most exceptional specialization, in this course you will be able to study the subjects of automobile engineering plus you will be taught other subjects for designing like Chassis design etc. Also, these subjects are connected to the labs so it helps you to get into Research and Development Part.

Internships Opportunities :

Yes, our college dis provide us internship and the stipend is always based on the course wgich you are in so it can't be generalized and the experience given also does matter in your CV for the next step.

Placement Experience :

Now, these days the placement and job opportunities are getting reduced actually. In my batch, almost 60% class was placed with the highest package of 6.5 lakhs from Mahindra and Mahindra. And the lowest package was offered was 3.16 lakhs from KPIT. If we talk about other courses the Computer Science batch got the best placement, as it was above 95%.

College Events :

Technical Fest- IGNITE Description- This is a 3-4 day fest in the month of February, it has almost like 100s of events in this fest. Cultural Fest- URJAA Description- This is also a 3 days fest in months of October having 1 DJ night and also 1 band night.

Fee Structure And Facilities :

The fee structure is very expensive in this college as I have completed my bachelor's in almost 8.5 lakhs which is just the academic fees and now the fee is almost like doubled for new students. Plus you also need to give extra money for the other projects. And living in the hostel is also expensive. So overall the total expense in this college for four years is almost like 20 lakhs.

Fees and Financial Aid :

The only scholarship that I know of that your tuition fee for 1st year will be zero if you had scored more than 90% in your main subjects i.e physics, chemistry, and mathematics. This scholarship is only available for three students of a class.

Campus Life :

The gender ratio is like 1.5 is to 1 for boys is to the girl as there are fewer girls in engineering. The campus life was still so amazing as there were no. of events in which you can take part in. There was various sports league which was played, mainly football, cricket, handball, basketball, badminton, volleyball etc.

Hostel Facilities :

Hostel rooms was very cool they were mostly available in triple sharing as the hostel seats are not much available according to the seat availability in courses there are numbers of PG's and Private hostels available around the campus with very good rooms and excellent food, so that will not be the issue.

Alumni/Alumna :

Your seniors are the only people who take you to the real life experience you will be going through in these four years, most of my seniors were very helpful they helped me and my friends to get us internship also.

Exam Structure :

There are two times when exams are taken in a semester. First are Mid-Terms with a percentage of 20% in your final score, these are taken in between the semester and then there is End-Term examinations with a percentage of 50% in your final score as these midterms and end terma have a pretty good time in between so the schedule was easy going. There were almost 3 to 4 Labs offered for every semester which was not too hectic.

Admission :

First, you need to give the test(UPESAT) or you can also be selected through you JEE score. Then admission will be followed by counseling in which courses will be explained and you could need to choose the course as per seat availability, if you put yourself in a waiting list of any course then the final result will be announced within 15 days and then college will be started within 2 weeks of the final result.

Faculty :

Almost every single faculty is a PH.D. or M.Tech Graduate, some teachers are also graduated from out of India. The teachers are always interested to mentor in every single project you needed to be done some even help you in every step. Teachers also had taken us through every topic of the subject from the basics plus if we need any help in between they also make us go through that topic again.

Placement Experience:

Placements are decent for CSE branch. But for other baranches very few companies visit on campus. Also for other branches your Cgpa should be good to be eligible for companies. If you have interest in your core branch(other than CSE) than it is better to preparing for Gate in early stage(like start preparing from 2nd year).

Course Curriculum Overview:

Well I chose this course because I want to learn all coding language and AI and ml but I didn't see here I can do that...there should improvement in teachers and the analogy of teaching should be changed well the frequency of exam is good but one thing should be changed which is approach of teachers towards students

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum is good and follows all requirements set by AICTE. It familiarise students with the practical part of branch and theoretical also to make them a good engineer. But in implementation it makes some difficulties because of lab structure the labs doesn't have proper attendent to handle it.

Placement Experience:

You start sitting for internship companies in the 5th semester and for jobs in the 7th semester. The companies keep coming continuously. Big MNC's come every other month but startups keep coming every other day. The CSO keeps working till you are placed even if you are an NC student (have active backlogs). I have received an offer from HPE. There have been only 1-2 companies who came and didn't offer to any student. Highest package since Sept'24 (I am writing in Nov'24) is actually 40lpa from D.E Shaw to one student and average so far has been 5lpa.
