Remarks :

The admission was smooth. I have applied for lateral entry for B.Tech mechanical engineering. I have given the entrance test. The management is helpful in the admission process. I am from Kashmir but I find no difficulty in getting admission

Course Curriculum Overview :

I have very much interest in mechanical engineering. The mechanical engineering department at MDU is very big. The teaching staff is highly educated. Most teaching staff are Ph.D. holders. The examination was a semester system and was smooth.

Class Size : 40Course Fees : INR 110000 per year

Internships Opportunities :

The campus also arranges for internship training in which you get a stipend. I was in an internship for 6 months through campus in Gurugram for CNC and AUTO CAD programs. I learn a lot from that 6 months and all accommodation and food were from a company.

Placement Experience :

After 7 semesters, I was eligible for campus placements, campus placement is very good. Most MNCs come for campus placements like coca cola, HONDA, etc. Most students get placement on campus with high salary packages.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

My total fee for the year was 110000, But I received about 50000 scholarships for all 3 years and management was full cooperation in getting a scholarship. Also, college gives scholarships to bright students.

Campus Life :

cultural activities occurred continuously. Every year one cultural week was celebrated. All the students participated in cultural and co-curricular activities. The library is very big and remains 24*7 open.

Hostel Facilities :

hostel facilities are available and safety is provided for all the students. Hostel facilities are available for girl students also. The quality of the meal is very good. PG rooms are also available in nearby localities.

Hostel Fee : INR 50000 per year

Infrastructure of our college is pretty amazing we have a huge campus, we have blocks from A to Q block. We have total of 7 canteens in the whole campus, 2 medical rooms, a central lawn and a total of 4 libraries in which students can study peacefully.
