The process is improving with time as it's getting more advanced day by day
Course Curriculum Overview :
I always wanted to be a doctor, to treat someone's pain. Being a dentist makes u feel proud to give someone the confidence to smile is the best part of this profession. Faculty-student ratio is 1:30 The faculty is very much qualified they have done bds, MDS, 6 years of senior residency. The teaching method is modified according to the students. Can be as a presentation or can be a marker and blackboard old school type teaching. Exams- no term system Annual exams only It's a little bit difficult to pass
Internships Opportunities :
There are no companies bonded with college. It is a government medical college and students are offered an internship of one year within the college with a stipend of 17k. After completion of the internship, the students got their ug degrees and on the basis of that degree, they can join a private clinic or as a junior resident in any medical institute. The degree is authorised by the dental council of India.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
Fees remain constant from ist year to last year Fees include tution fees, University fees that cost approx 50,050. Being a hosteller need to pay hostel fees too that's almost 20,550. In hostels mess being cooperative mess charges varies from 4-5k per month. After clearing the final year one-year internship is mandatory having a stipend of 17k something which is constant since 2014 and going to increase soon, hope so. Scholarships like harchatarvarti can be applied by students of low economic status.
Campus Life :
Annual fest named armscon- India's biggest medical student conference in which all the medical colleges of Haryana take part .it is conducted in October due to covid armscon was not held in 2019 n 20. As our college also has postgraduate courses and is ranked 3rd all over India, being an ug I always get books more than I can expect. Classrooms are very comfortable, lecture theatres are fully air-conditioned. University has a sports ground close to the hostel. Having 2 basketball courts one for us and one for pgs. Having 2 lawn tennis courts. Cricket ground, football, badminton and many more. Sports meets are organised by senior students almost once in 2 months unless it's exam time.
Hostel Facilities :
Rooms are not that good in girls' hostel A few buildings are new and they are good but those rooms are allowed for postgraduate students and according to ranks in university exams. Meal quality is, as usual, as much as u can expect from a hostel mess but it's hygienic. Hostel, fees are deposited at the time of admission to the college and it's 20k, which seems affordable. I m not living in pg so I m not sure about that but being in the middle of Rohtak city several PGs are available within the range of 500 m of the campus.
