Remarks :
The eligibility criteria for the course are based on matriculation. The admission is based on the police entrance examination conducted by the Telangana government for admission into diploma courses. The advertisement for the entrance examination is released every year in March. The advertisement consists of eligibility criteria, application fees, important dates, the examination pattern, reservation details, and the syllabus. However, application fees differ depending on the community and disability. For OC, EWS, and BC, the fee is 800 rupees, and for SC, ST, and disabled persons, the fee is 400 rupees only. The improvement that I want to see is that the application fee should be funded by the government only for all communities that are eligible for scholarships. The syllabus of the examination is based on 10th-grade mathematics, physics, and chemistry. The total marks for the exam are 200 marks.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I chose mining engineering because, at the time of my admission, the demand for this department was high in the market. The total sanctioned strength for each department is 60 students per academic year. The faculty at our institution is highly qualified and knowledgeable. one member of the faculty is assigned to every ten students, excluding the department head and other technical lab instructors. The M.Tech is the highest level of qualification for all faculty in our institution. They effectively teach based on real-life examples. Sometimes they explain and solve the topics through digital projectors. In a semester, there will be two midterms, one every two months. The pass percentage depends on every student individually.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
The fee structure for each student is 15,000 rupees per year. The payment of the fee to the institution is a one-time payment only. If we do not pay the fee on time means, they will not allow the students to attend the classes. Fee reimbursement is available for students with an annual income of less than Rs. 2 lahks only. And that reimbursement of the total fee, which is 15,000 rupees, is funded only by the government. The institution does not provide any type of scholarship or stipend to the students. There are no placements in our institution.
Campus Life :
There is a library in our institution. There is more number of standard book collections, IEI journals, and other technical-related magazines in the library. Each student may take a maximum of five books. The duration for the return of the book is one month. If we do not return the book in a timely manner, we have to pay a fine of Rs. 2 per day. The campus is clean and green. Every classroom is well equipped with benches, doors, fans, windows, and CCTV installations. Labs, classrooms, and libraries all are under CCTV surveillance. Every year our institution organizes annual sports for all students department-wise. Our institution has a big playground with all amenities. There are no student clubs in our institution. The institution does not conduct any fest. But every year, our institution celebrates annual day and fresher's day.
