Remarks :
The eligibility was 65% and above for the B-tech mechanical course. The application form was available at the admission center in the main building(Mechanical building). In the admission process, they took cash, there should be an online payment method available for payment to make it convenient.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I choose the course because I wanted to go into robotics and my teachers told me to go for this course. The faculty is good and cooperative. Even the teachers give their best to the students and support them in every field. The faculty is experienced and well-managed. The term exams are of moderate level and you can't cheat which is good. There are 2 term exams and 2 assignments for every subject and then the sessional exams and practicals. The college focuses more on practical skills rather than theoretical skills. Also, they balance both.
Internships Opportunities :
They told us to bring companies such as Tallbros but it didn't happen, there were some small companies to which they send us for an interview. So I found it myself from outside with the help of LinkedIn and other online or offline platforms.
Placement Experience :
From the 7th semester, students become eligible for campus placements. There was no company visit during my time, we have to go to the company's address and give the interview which was really disappointing. There were no percentage criteria for the placements, if you have the skills, you take the job. I wanted to go into the robotics field so I searched on LinkedIn and get hired there.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
The fee structure is, you have to pay 30000 at admission and then 25000 after every three months that accounts for a total of 105000 per year. You get the scholarship if you get in the top 3 ranks in the university. When it comes to jobs, there are no companies that are above average. They'll tell you that they bring many companies, many great companies but they'll choose the companies that are average or sometimes below average with a stipend of nearly 12k-15k. I'm just talking about the mechanical perspective, don't take it for CS OR IT fields.
Campus Life :
There is a tech fest and a sports program every year but it isn't enough. There are no other fests. Classrooms are well managed and equipped with AC, projectors, and a modern design experience. The Library is one of the best places. And we can take up to 5 books at a time with an availability of 1 week, after one week we have to return or reissue them otherwise fine will be charged at 10/per day. There are no social groups, clubs, or websites in the college. There are some extracurricular activities scheduled for every Friday for 3 hrs. You can take part in one of them(like robotics, carrom, dancing, singing, volleyball, etc.).
