Remarks :
Last but not the least, our chairman M.Srinivasa Rao visits atleast twice in a month despite of his busy schedule and interacts with students directly and tries to solve all concerns. Special credits to him.
Entrance Preview :
I took EAMCET-2012 and I got 91901 rank. I came to know about this college from my friends and I started to grow a little interest in it, and fortunately, I got a seat in it which I thought impossible.
Course Curriculum Overview :
We have a good faculty with a lot of patience. They help you in every aspect and coming to labs, we have the best labs with adequate equipment. In fact it is the best part of our college. One can get more knowledge in practical than theoretical. But Research is not up to the mark.
Internships Opportunities :
Very little companies provide internships. You cant expect much from the college in this regard. But they support you a lot if you want to try on your own. Faculty can guide more in this regard.
Placement Experience :
Almost 30% of the students are placed before the completion of the course. Specially for placements, they will provide a Campus Recruitment Training for one month. They encourage us to off campus drives as well, they will provide transport facility for such drives. They will make sure that every student is aware of any recruitment drives. These are some of the companies. Sourceeasy - 2.93 LPA Vitech Systems - 2.5 LPA Tripod - 2.1 LPA Apalya Technologies - 1.9 LPA and many other start ups.
College Events :
Technical fest is the first thing that comes to my mind when coming to events in college because total fest is organized by students. We have full freedom in organizing the event. Coming to other activities like annual day, are celebrated very grandly, selection of chief guests by our chairman is awesome. He manages to get great personalities as chief guests.
Fee Structure And Facilities :
Considering the college infrastructure, standard and other things, the college fee is very reasonable. It is 45000, and if you are eligible you can get scholarship from government from 75-100% of the fee. Other fee like NBA accredition, JNTU fee etc donot exceed more than 8000 pa.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
If you are eligible you can get scholarship from government from 75-100% of the fee. But no scholarship from the college. Same with the loans, you can get loan from any bank based on your eligibility, but no loan from college.
Campus Life :
Wonderful life in the college. You have a lot of freedom and a friendly environment. As the college is located in a village, there is no disturbance and it is very peaceful. No gender discrimination. Moreover student have a right to conduct any event provided permission from college administration.
Hostel Facilities :
Hostel rooms are very spacious and you have a good environment to stay. Just to mention, College canteen need to be improved a little. As we have a big hostel, there is no problem with the seats and place. We have a good management in hostel who are very friendly and helping in need.
Alumni/Alumna :
Seniors are very interactive. I can strongly tell that Ragging is abolished from AVANTHI. Even after the college life, seniors were helpful in lot of aspects. During technical fests, their help is unforgettable.
Exam Structure :
Exam structure is as per the university guidelines. But the thing I can say for sure is that exams are not burden in AVANTHI. As per the university norms, internal exams, external exams, lab exams are conducted. No any other special exams apart of that.
Admission :
I got seat in this college through counselling and got admitted accordingly. I must mention about the administration specially. I saw many other top college administration while joining, but none can be like Avanthi. You will have a big room with college staff(faculty) as counselors at separate tables to help the students/guardians by clarifying the doubts and explaining about the college. You need not worry about admission process, it is friendly.
Faculty :
Faculty are good, I cant tell that each and every faculty is excellent, but they have a quite good experience and knowledge so that you can get a good guidance and support. The best part is that they are very friendly and down to earth. You can enjoy their presence.
