Remarks :

In the year 2018, There was DAVV-CET for Admissions at DAVV university. The process was quite easy. I got admitted in the first round of counseling in general women. But there were several quotas Firstly SCST then OBC then JK migrant women quota etc. But starting in 2022, now there is CUET on the PAN India level. You can fill out the form for the UG level exam or PG level exam from MPonline. Dates will be on the website.

Course Curriculum Overview :

The curriculum was ancient. We suffered a lot but thanks to the new education policy, A lot of subjects and policies have been revised. We part of the M.Tech Integrated course can't leave the course after B.Tech(no separate degree) but our junior batches are free to do so. The student ratio is quite good. Some permanent faculty members might force you to attend all the lectures and do unnecessary assignments. But if you can manage you will have a lot of time to prepare for placements and do internships. They don't ask you to pay if you're attendance is less than 75% but you may get debarred from internals. Exams are done according to the exam calendar each semester. Exams are easy to clear.

Placement Experience :

You have placement drives coming from May of the 4th year(starting of the 5th year). I would rather advise you to go for MCA rather than MTech because a lot of companies allow MCA to appear more than MTech. Companies like TCS, Wipro, Infosys, Accenture, Cognizant, and many more companies and startups come to this campus for placements.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

The fees for each semester are around 47k-48k. There are 10 semesters in MTech (Integrated course). If you have category reservations, you will have scholarship benefits along with the Medhavi scholarship. I didn't get any such scholarship because in 2018 Medhavi was not applicable for Integrated courses nor do I belong to any category.

Campus Life :

There are a few fests and events which are good and you may find your college life moments in them like Tourist, Fiesta, and Xpressions. Sports competitions are also held like Synergy etc. Apart from that, you may participate in UTD Team selections and competitions. Youth fests etc. For books, there is a small and clean library at IIPS where you can find your related course books and references. Central Library has vast resources and a study area with facilities like Internet access and computers. For that you will have to pay and get yourself a card, the amount will be refunded to you at the end of the session.

Hostel Facilities :

Hostels are good. Depends on which hostel you are living in. For Boys you have RNTH, JCBH,JNBH hostels and for girls you have KNGH,NKNGH, PRBH,CVR,NCVR hostels. The out timings are 8:00 pm for weekdays and 8:30 pm for Sundays for the girls' Hostel. You can request late entry before 1 day 2 times a month. You are not required to inform the warden if you are going home, just write it down in the entry registers. Wardens here are either faculties or HOD of any department so please don't think of them as wardens of private hostels.

Hostel Fee : INR 22500 per year

Placement Experience:

The placement is good in our college as the highest package grabbed by our senior was 1.15 cr this year through Amazon eu. The percentage of students getting placement are around 80%. My plans are to grab campus placement.

Sum up all learned things to the astonishing work

Placement Experience:

Campus placement are quite good in Jabalpur Engineering College. Students are eligible and can avail campus placement from their 7th semester onwards. There are some companies i would like to mention , TCS, Reliance Jio, IBM, Wipro, Collabera, TrueChip, Cognizant and some others. Some of them came for mass selection of students with good knowledge of their companies. The highest salary package of companies co.e in JEC are 7-8 LPA. The average salary packages are provided by companies is 3-5 LPA. Chances of getting selected in the campus placement are depends upon the students Strong hold on the subject and their course. So basically the chances of getting selected is around 30-40% . Students usually tend to have many dram after getting selected in campus placement. As per my plan, after getting a degree i will prone to learn new technology and present myself a position where i can give my all conceptual knowledge earned from College period and convert into practical knowledge.

Remarks:

If college will improvise the college placement ratio than that would be very helpful for all the students studying there.

Admission:

I have 60% above percentage in my 12th class so I was eligible to get admission in that college. The college is closer to my home also that's why I opted for that college. They took photocopy of all valid documents and first instalment of fee. they have there own bus facility and hostel as well which is suitable to all.
