Remarks :

There is no entrance exam required for admission. Overall fees for the year including hostel mess and college fees are 170000. Infrastructure is not that competitive to the modern University but in view of 1943, the infrastructure is astounding.

Course Curriculum Overview :

I choose fashion and apparel engineering as my family has a background in the textile industry. The fashion department has 6 teachers each having knowledge in their field and some have done Ph.D. from IIT. The exams are not so difficult or easy if you study regularly for 40 to 60 min you can easily pass the exam.

Class Size : 30Course Fees : INR 120000 per year

Internships Opportunities :

Various companies offered internship programs like Vardhman and Jayashree. Some companies offer without stipend internship while some give stipends of 8k- 10k. During the internship, you have to make an internship report along with a project report that you need to submit to the college as well as the company.

Placement Experience :

campus placement starts in 7 semesters but the condition is that the students should be all clear means he/she shouldn't have any backlog in the previous semesters. 80% of students get placed in college only some opt for higher studies.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

The tuition fee a normal student needs to pay is around 95000. But for hostlers, it is around 180000, which includes hostel fees and mess fees for both semesters. The college gives an sc/st scholarship along with merit form 12 and Haryana counseling.

Campus Life :

Before covid colleges organized many programs, not fests but simple college programs. The college has different libraries 1 for the textile branches and 1 for other branches. Classrooms are equipped with smart classes. The department regularly organizes cultural activities, competitions, and events. There are many societies in the college that have different functions like the Ds society organizes all the cultural events.

You can consider it if you are not getting any NIT then you can consider this college.

Placement Experience:

Talking about placement rate the ins is 40-50% according to several seniors I asked and they told me this is because most of the students prepare for GATE for higher studies. And the companies which visit here are mass recruiting companies like TATA and Infosys.
