Remarks :
It's a fairly simple process for admission. ACPDC is an admission committee that overall manages the admission process. Now for the first step for admission, ACPDC provides a booklet having all the college's latest cut-offs, College details, Important dates, and guidelines for admission. It can be found on the acpdc official website. First, you have to register your self then document verification is done, where you have to physically visit the help center to verify documents. After verifying the mock round is published depending on the current student cutoff which college can be obtained by the students. Then choice feeling round takes place, and after multiple rounds of admission, you can finalize your admission. Typically 2-3 rounds are there if you want to change admission. For the reservation all the details are given in the booklet some colleges do have a reservation and some don't my college has the reservation, and coming from OBC I get benefited.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I have done diploma in chemical engineering, the reason behind my the choosing chemical field is that I live in Gujarat, Bharuch. The Jobs are quite good in Gujarat in the chemical field. I think the faculties were sufficient in my college, most of the lectures were conducted by faculties. Also being a government college faculty, surprisingly all faculties were strict and quite excellent in their subject and teaching. We have faculties with a doctorate, Master's, and bachelor's degrees. Some faculties also have industrial experience. Exams were quite easy, We had two exams one mid sem which is typically after the 3 months of the semester start, and the final exam which is after 5-6 months.
Placement Experience :
Placements were quite good, especially for Chemical students. From the 5th semester, students are eligible for placements. We are getting an average package of 250000 and the highest package was 360000 per annum. For the placements, top companies are visited such as Reliance, UPL, JIO, AARTI Industries, etc. We are having more than 95% placements in our college, there were very few students who did not get placed in any industry.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
As my college was government there weren't many hikes in fees. We have yearly tuition fees of around 5-10k and exam fees were 500 - 1000 per semester. There are a lot of scholarship schemes for all the students. For open category students MYSY scholarship. for OBC, ST, SEBC digital Gujarat scholarship. There were also other scholarships such as Vidhyassarathi, MOMA, etc.
Campus Life :
I think our college does lack in this we have not conducted that many annual or tech fests in college, most days were celebrated and sports weeks are conducted. There is a decent library in college having most of the required books. There is a gymkhana committee in our college but there was not much culture for extracurricular activities.
