Remarks :
The eligibility for any diploma program is a need of completed the 10th standard and 12th for direct 2nd yr admissions. Now the admissions process is simple students can apply at the MSBTE site for admission process and registration and can also check dates/colleges. After approval and document verification students can apply for Colleges they want through CAP rounds. Students get their desired colleges on their state merit number/rank and the cut-off of that college students have opted in their choice forms. The Suggestion I'll give is to notify students exact dates of registrations, admissions, and reporting. They should also accept other payment methods like cash, Online Payments.
Course Curriculum Overview :
Computer science is the only branch I'd ever wanted. Faculty do some kind of partiality when it comes to internal grading and marking even though you have a good scoring record and you do mess up with any faculty consider that subject teacher will mostly give you low marks for internal grading and that can lead to ATKT or F.T(Failure Term). The faculty is really good and supportive and they know to clear your doubts and queries. Exams were on time like class tests, internal practical exams, and external practical exams as per the MSBTE schedule. If the college doesn't teach you a certain topic in class that doesn't mean it'll not come in your exam as per the MSBTE paper it can give you a bit of shock in the exam hall.
Internships Opportunities :
After completing the 3rd sem and 4th sem exams we had to find a company on our own and do a mandatory internship to be eligible to get admission in the 3rd year. College never provided an internship opportunity we had to find it on our own and complete it before the 3rd year starts.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
As it was a government polytechnic the fees were not that high I mean 3600 as an admission fee for the entire year was not that expensive and 350 for the exam form, other than this not a single penny we had to pay to college for tuition fees. As I belonged to the OBC caste I did got a scholarship for 3 years (1510*2 installments) So a total of 3020 Rs per year was the scholarship application for me, Although it can vary from caste to caste.
Campus Life :
College life was good we had an annual gathering in January- February (last week- first week) respectively. Books were available in Book shops but in the college library there were many and frankly, I never read a book from the college library so I can't review the college library or the books available in it. Classrooms were ok neither good nor bad. Those were average and had green board and no conference hall / Auditorium in the college. Few sports in college were included like kabbadi, Football, and Volleyball that's it.
Hostel Facilities :
In our hostel rooms, we were provided with bed bits, not cushions or mattresses included we had to purchase them separately. A ceiling fan 2 study tables and 2 chairs, Washrooms were ok as you expect from a government college hostel. Meal included in the hostel mess is good because the vegetables were maintained by the hostel chief elected by 2nd and 3rd-year students. The registration process was fairly easy just had to fill out the form and if you had a good score in the past year (for 2nd and 3rd-year students) you get a hostel room allocated. Any student can afford a hostel it is cheap and the mess bill was like 900-1200 (Per month) not exceeding this amount nor below that. For my 1st year, I rented a PG for 1200/month and mess for 1500/month at Bhaipur, Arvi opposite college.
