Remarks :

The only way to take admission is through the entrance exam named Jexpo. Application fees for this examination are rs 500 but now no application fees for the Jexpo exam. To take admitted to this college, first of all, you have to score very well on the Jexpo exam. The reservation is as per govt. Rules.

Course Curriculum Overview :

I chose this course because of my interest in chemicals and only 4 colleges are having chemical engineering so the competition is lower than others. The faculties are so well known and their teaching methods are awesome. There are 12 faculties in our branch and there are 60 seats for students. Our mid-term exams are much tough as compared to others but we are not found tough because of our faculty.

Class Size : 60Course Fees : INR 1369 per year

Internships Opportunities :

Many companies hired students for internships, they are HPL, INDO RAMA, NTPC, etc They all give around 8k pm. as a stipend, and their job roles are as a trainee. We are working as a trainee and we work as an operator.

Placement Experience :

From the sixth semester, students become eligible for campus placements. Many companies have been visited for campusing some of them are HPL, JSPL, JSW, MATIX FERTILIZER, INDO RAMA, etc. All of them hire a minimum of 5 candidates. The highest package is 3.2k p.m. in mix fertilizer. An average package is around 19k p.m. Almost 70% of students are being placed. Now I am works at NTPC FARAKKA

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

It is a government college so the fees are as per govt. There are two scholarships provided by the college the IOCL scholarship, Nabanna Scholarship. For the poor students, there is some financial support like private tuition provided by the teachers.

Campus Life :

Our college annual fest will be conducted in February. In our college library, there is a lot of study material for our course and there are daily journals and newspapers. In our classroom, there is a blackboard, a chair table, In our college, there are two playgrounds and a clubhouse.

After completing of 4th semester you can eligible for campus placement. L&t, Mahindra, Wipro, John dere, Mando, and many other companies visited. The highest package is 35000 which is offered by the l&t. 85% of students got placed. I will complete my BTech.

Best Diploma college in west bengal

Placement Experience:

From the 5th semester, students are eligible to attend campus placement interviews. There are so many reputed companies that visit our college for placement like Jindal steel and power, JSW, JSL, TATA STEEL, L&T, Super smelters ltd and many more small companies. AS far as my knowledge concerns the highest package is around 800000 LPA and the lowest is around 250000 LPA. Most of the students get the placement some are in big companies and some are in local companies. As I have selected Jindal steel and power as JE.

From the 5th semester, the students are able to apply for the campus placements I don't recognize any company at the moment but there is a huge amount of offers made in the college campus placement The highest average package was 1L as I remember but it's ok after all it's a diploma from College. 40 percent of the students get placement every year My plans after getting the degree are to go for higher studies Like B.Tech.
