Admission is based on rankings provided by the Karnataka education authority based on the entrance exam Kcet. 50% reservation for agriculture Kota, Application form and form available in kea website. Visit regularly for the kea. in.

Course Curriculum Overview :

Basically, I am an animal lover I found happiness by treating animals. The faculty was good and most of them are very experienced with min 10 years of experience and polite. They always help when students seek help from them. All faculty of almost all departments are Ph.D. holders they teach through presentations with pictures and practical's, and they give a clear-cut explanation. Exams: 3 internals per year of which best of the 2 considered and finally externals include both theory and practicals in which each department has 2 papers and it was difficult to pass some exams

Class Size : 75Course Fees : INR 60000 per year

Internships Opportunities :

I am still studying in the college there are no such placements given by the college in the final year that is in the 5th year they provide with an internship of 15- 20k to students for their service towards animals.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

Since the college is under government fees hike was not as much as in private colleges only a 1k to 3k increase in each year it is affordable for the middle class as well as a poor family also. Many community scholarships are available also SSPs are provided by the state government. Some merit scholarships are also given to students based on merit yearly. Job: No placements in college. More than 50% are selected for the government sector and remain in private practices.

Campus Life :

Freshers day and college day are conducted yearly usually conducted in July and August. There is a library which includes all kinds of books and thesis they also provide them for home. more than 10000 books are present in the library. Many sports are takes place and intercollege sports also held by universities. Many Instagram pages and Facebook pages are run by students to create awareness among people about innocent animals.

Hostel Facilities :

Hostel rooms are good and the food was very good. Different types of the recipe are made Morning: There are different types of Tiffin given idli dosa Puri and chapati. Afternoon they provide rice sambar which was like homemade.

The truth of the university

Course Curriculum Overview:

Based on exposure in the clinics it can be rated 7/10. There are large number of cases . Which made me want to choose this college. But nothing is taught and the treatment and care are only the bare minimum. The curriculum is only theoretical and does not prepare you well for being a doctor . Too much information is taught in too less time. Unnecessary subjects are included. Exams put a lot of pressure on the student. No gaps or study holidays between exams . Portion covered will be too large . Overall very stressful conditions.

" A brief introductory to veterinary College, Hebbal"

Placement Experience:

From 5th year onwards students are eligible for campus placements .number of dairy based companies like Karnataka Co-Operative Milk Producers Federation Ltd(Nandini),Dairy Classic ICE Creams Pvt Ltd,Nakoda Dairy Pvt Ltd, etc... And other poultry based companies also provide placement opportunities for the students .package for the eligible candidates differ from the range of 50000 to 1lakh for fresh candidates without any experience . Percentage of students getting into placement is appreciable . Government veterinary officer job is most preferred.A government veterinary doctor can earn upto Rs. 50000 to 1 lakhs per month.based on the cgpa of the students who are all passed out top ranked students gets into the placements rest can try for the private sector jobs which also offers better package . Coming to my plans after getting the degree is to get into masters in the department of veterinary pathology in the Research institution in Bareilly, uttar Pradesh to perceive PhD in the same

The heaven for a Veterinary students

Remarks:

I think I have mentioned everything above. The overall remark from my point of view is, it is a good College for students who wants to pursue their future in the Veterinary field. The academic part of the College is also maintained with good standards.
