Entrance Preview :

There is no additional exam required for admission. So, the admission is only based on the counselling given by the college which is a must to attend for the students.

Course Curriculum Overview :

The course curriculum is easy. The focus is on overall development of the student rather than just on academics. There is a wide industry exposure and students are motivate through lectures and workshops.

Placement Experience :

A lot of placement opportunities are present in the college in significant number. The college management and the placement cell is very supportive as they groom the students to appear for the interviews.

College Events :

Events are a major part of any college life. I enjoy the events conducted at Kolkata campus quite a lot. Mostly sports and cultural activities are organized and a large number of participation is observed.

Fee Structure And Facilities :

The fee is quite affordable for the hotel management course as compared to other colleges in India. It is 180,000 per year for the complete course that is of two years.

Campus Life :

The campus life is fun. There is a huge crowd that is academically motivated and have an urge to make the change. Also many facilities are provided in the college such as cafeteria, auditorium, wifi etc.

Faculty :

The faculty is motivating and there is quite a room for development of a person's personality. We learn a lot of things from the lectures that are delivered regularly by senior faculty members.

A brief study about IIAS - Siliguri (P.G. program in Travel and Tourism Mgmt)

Placement Experience:

IIAS Siliguri has always given very good placements to all its students. If you are in a 3 years course, campus placements will start from the 5th semester itself, For us, it was from the 3rd semester. I remember, for our Post Graduation course, around 8 - 10 companies came for the campus interviews. A few of my batchmates got very good offers of around Rs 3,00,000 per annum in the year 2008. Around 80% of students got campus placements. The remaining students were helped by the placement coordinator to get a job.

Entrance Preview:

Admission process is a bit different for this college. I filled the inquiry form first and a meeting/interview with the counselor of the college was set-up. After they evaluated me, I filled the admission form which was available in the prospectus. The whole admission process became easy since the administration was very helpful.

Placement Experience:

A lot of placement opportunities are provided by the college that includes 3 chances for an interview. The placement cell is quite dedicated in enhancing the personality of students to appear for companies.

Entrance Preview:

The entrance for our college BNG is easy. You are required to pass senior secondary from a national recognized board such as CBSE to qualify for the further admission procedure. Though, the counselling part is essential for admissions.

Placement Experience:

Many companies such as lifestyle, Oberoi, Radisson, reliance, lifestyle etc come for placements. So many placement opportunities are available by the college and the student is groomed for interviews.

Our college BNG, Kolkata campus. It is a very nice college that has an affordable fee structure. The entrance is entirely based on merit by the student.

Placement Experience:

Remarks:

The campus life is basically fun. All kinds of facilities are provided in the college campus. The classrooms are fully AC and there is adequate computer infrastructure present in the campus. Overhead projectors are installed in the classrooms.
