Remarks :
I am not satisfied about the facilities this college has given to students.. No proper transport facility and the surrounding is full of dust and dirt. Some international students and even Kashmiri students had extra complaints of problems with the management staff.
Entrance Preview :
I had given MAT and I had 84 percentile. I was recommended this college by a friend. I had other colleges in mind. The infrastructure seemed good and hence I opted for this college.
Course Curriculum Overview :
Course curriculum is that of Bangalore university. It is not anything great. You'll be better off selecting a different college.
Placement Experience :
Don't get attracted by infrastructure.. There is no scope for campus placements. There are students being placed but the packages are not great. Very often the salaries offered are around 3 lacs or lower. You might be better off finding a job on your own.
Fee Structure And Facilities :
The fee structure for Acharya Bangalore B-School for 2016-17 is as follows: MBA Bangalore University: Fees Rs 766000 (includes ipad) MBA Mysore University: Fees Rs 418500 (includes ipad) AICTE PGDM: Fees Rs 702000 (includes ipad) AICTE Global PGDM: Fees Rs 720500 Hostel: Rs 72,000 Per Year with food
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
Yes, they have something called as President's scholarship. I suggest you ask the college directly about the procedure to obtain the same.
Campus Life :
The campus is nice and peaceful. You have students from UG and PG so there are many students from different streams on the campus and you get to have goof interactions with people from different backgrounds.
Hostel Facilities :
You can't get good food in the hostel. in the brochure they will show that they are providing many facilities like gym Wi-Fi and sports etc but none of them are really available. Gym will be closed every time. Wi-Fi is set in such a manner that many education websites are blocked for access! Only library and hostel rooms are good.
Faculty :
Academics is not up to the mark. You can't get exposure over here to industry realities. It is mostly rote learning. The teachers are average and visiting faculty is better.
