From the Heart and Mind of an Average student

Remarks :

I took the CUET entrance exam conducted by IPU.The application process was smooth and the cutoffa were quite reasonable.Anyone can find their application form on their official site and the application fees was not that much high.Admission process takes around whole day of an individual it should be cut down toh 2-3 hours max.

Course Curriculum Overview :

I wanted this course as I want to make a career in finace sector and there was no better course than B.com(h) as it also provides knowledge about accountancy and mathematics. Faculty to student ratio was quite low in this college. All the faculty members were from excellent academic background and their teaching methods were excellent. Exams were always on point and delay and it was quite moderate to clear the exams.

Internships Opportunities :

Companies came with internship offers like The Times of India,Nescafe, Inglu and many others. They offered different toles like hr, digital marketing, sales, financial accounting etc. I was given the role of promoting sales through digital marketing

Placement Experience :

From 4th semester onwards a student is eligible to get placed in one of the companies. There were quite a lot of companies which visited some of them were Wipro,Pwc India,TCS,Incedo,Publicis,JLL,Byjus and the made offers around 400 totally combined. Highest package offered according to my knowledge was of PWC it was of 4 lakh 60 thousand and It was a profile of AR/AP specialist. Around 35% of students were placed from campus. I will go for corporate job and then after 5 years i will ho for mba.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

Fee is the main part of the College but as this college was under the jurisdiction of IPU they has to comply with their guidelines. Fee kept raising every passing year, fee increased during covid lockdown also and no financial aids were provided to anyone. Thankfully I got placed in one of the biggest MNC of india from college and receiving stipend around 15000.Most of the companies came to college were for sales profile which was not amusing to many students.

Campus Life :

The annual fest that college organise was not good they used yo charge and ask for a amount to attend the event which was not good and it was conducted in the month of February and it was not annually. There is a plenty of books and journals available in the library. One can avail the Library facilities by using the identity cards. Classrooms are quite well equipped with ac. There were no sports facilities in the campus but there were lots of extra curricular activities like different types of events held avery month. There were lots of clubs run by student one of them was kranti the drama club which one can found on insta with the same name. Second was internware run by students for internship opportunity for students.

After the 6th semester the students became eligible for the placement but because average placement of my college is not so good, most of the students don't wait for the college placement. My plan after getting the degree is to study other professional courses in Commerce field.

Course Curriculum Overview:

In my course, bcom (prog), there are few subjects which helps in real world applications such as income tax, gst, accounting, etc which could also help in our future academic pursuits. The difficulty level is not much high if you are well prepared then the exams are easy.

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for sitting in Campus placements after completion of Sem 4 exams & can join after graduating. Average package: 7.4 LPA (approx) Highest package: 21 LPA (approx) as per Placement Cell data. Companies such as Deloitte, Wipro, EY, KPMG, Crowe, Morgan Stanley, De shaw & Co, Walmart, PWC, Accenture, Mother Dairy etc took place in the most recent placement drive of our college. If no campus placement is offered, one can go for off campus placements and approach people and companies through LinkedIn. They may also go for Higher Education such as MCom, MBA or any professional courses such as CA, CPA, CFA, FRM etc. I feel Placement Cell of Ramjas College puts its best foot forward in order to bring the best companies on campus, assisting students throughout the process, and smooth onboarding in companies. The efforts of each and every member of the cell are commendable.

the placement scenarios starts in the 5th semester. many MNCs visit the college and the most placed students are from b.com and b.com honours. I don't know about the other courses but I don't think they get many opportunities in college placement. average placement for b.com and BCom is around 5 lakh. the highest package ever offered was around 20 lakh as mentioned in college website.

Actually, our college starts campus as a 2nd-year student. And most of the best part of campus is that every student is selected individually for performance and report. If a student is able to clear the campus requirement he or she will be easily selected and his carrier start making
