Remarks :

I got here admission through NEET. My score was 600 in NEET 2020 and cut off for general category was 599. You can find application of admission on DMER Haryana website but NEET score is must requirement.

Course Curriculum Overview :

I chosen this course because it was my dream to become a doctor and after 12th I took 2 attempts to got MBBS seat. Faculty: student ratio is good. There are 120 students in a class and faculty including HOD ,associate professors, Assistant professors and demonstrators vary from department to department but range between 7 to 10. Most of the faculty members are post graduates and some are graduated( MBBS). Teaching method is good. They teach through PowerPoint presentation or transparencies. Term exams takes place in 2 months and sometimes in 1 month also. If someone study regularly these are easy to pass.

Internships Opportunities :

Most of the students do internship in the college only during which you earn 22000 per month. But you can do internship anywhere from any college you want to do its only up to you from where you want to do.

Placement Experience :

After final year students are eligible for internship. Its a medical college so no company visit here for placements. Most of the students get JRship after completing graduation and average income per month is 80000.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

My first fees was 80000 and there is 10% rise in tuition fees every year. Besides this there is a bond of 10lakh per year according to which you have to give 10lakh per year( of MBBS duration) after graduating if you don't serve in Haryana government hospitals. In campus we can do internship in which we are currently paid 22000 every month.

Campus Life :

Umang is the annual fest of our college. Before Covid it was occurred during February. Other fest also occur like Holi fest, Dussehra's and Diwali fest. Library is well stocked with all necessary books. In classroom there is very good sitting arrangement and all classrooms are air conditioned. Sports and extra curricular activities are also there. There is no gym in the campus ,basketball court and football ground in the campus. There is EKAM student's society and all the clubs are run by this society like dance, literature, art and sports club.

Hostel Facilities :

In first and second year you got a double sharing room. Second year onwards you get single room which have personal balcony. Bathrooms are not attached. In room you get bed, table, chair, almirah, fan, light. Cooler you have to buy on your own . ACs are not allowed. Mess is cooperative means it is run by students themselves. You have to bring mess tenor and prepare menu by your own. Meal quality is good. Mess fees is 2700 per month. Hostel registration takes place at hostel itself and its fees is 22000 per year.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The decision to serve humanity influenced me to join this course. This course is considered most prestigious course, but still the doctors are paid less compared to other professions. The teaching method should be improved, teacher should interact with students with calmness.

Faculty is good but if we talk about teaching methods as we all know that in medical College you have to study on your own. some professors only come to read slides. The main exam will be held in the last of the year on its basis you will be promoted in the 2nd year, but tests are held on alternate weeks approx.

Placement Experience:

There are 100 students per batch, and it's a 5-year course, including a one-year internship. During the internship, we will be offered with a stipend around Rs. 20,000 per month. But there is a bond that you have to work for 3 years after the course, and you can break the bond by paying a specific amount.
