An average college for explorers and enthusiast and learners

Remarks :

You need to apply for ACPC counselling after which you can participate in different rounds for college admission. ACPC counselling application is approximately 350 to 400 before that you had to write GUJCET examination for doing all these processes.

Course Curriculum Overview :

The GTU course for Electronics and communication is outdated and not industry oriented so it is difficult to adjust I heard alot about GEC Gandhinagar's electronics and communication department and to say it was satisfactory. The faculty to student ratio is 1:120 and the faculty is well qualified all have cleared Gpsc. The midterm exams are conducted by the college so no one can say when they will take the exam and say about the end term it is conducted by Gtu so they are mostly held after 5 to 6 months of the commencement of your semester.

Placement Experience :

The students can apply for placement from the 7th-8th sem. Mostly local companies come for recruiting but some famous companies like TCS, Wipro, and cognizant also come here. The max package offered here last year was 5 lakh with the average being 3 lakhs and min being 2 lakhs.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

Well, it's a government college so the fees are literally affordable for all people which is 1500 for boys and something around 900 for girls and there are zero hikes in fees unless it is from gtu and for other materials like books and stationery it would be around 1000 to 2000 so I think fees is not an issue here.

Campus Life :

Well, tech-fest does happen here and since I arrived at college post covid this year or maybe next year I will have my tech-fest. The Library of this college is one of the best places to study as well as there are many books here. There are few sports groups but no sports ground or sports facilities so not a good place for the sports enthusiasts. There are few tech clubs here in the college for coding as well as personality development.

Hostel Facilities :

I got a college hostel through my merit/ACPC rank as the criteria for hostel selection is Acpc merit rank. The hostel here is not clean and not maintained properly. Their arent enough tables chairs, tables or sometimes no light or fans. The washrooms are not clean. Overall the hostel is good if you can adjust to any situation and the fees are extremely low approximately 4500/yearly.

Quite a few placement and internship opportunities are present. Students are generally offered summer and winter internships in the 3rd year along with 3 models to choose from, a regular model, an internship model, and an IEEE model for IEEE student branch members. There are a ton of collaborations with different companies. Internship and placement opportunities are available from companies such as TCS, Wipro, Cognizant, Corizo, etc.
