Remarks :

You need to have a science background and need to give any of the joint entrance examinations You need to fill out the application form from the web entrance. Application fees for it were the 500 rs joint examination fees. I didn't avail any reservations but it had many reservations like lower-income category, scholarships and more The admission process was smooth

Course Curriculum Overview :

I choose this course as I had known about the field of study and I was very much interested in this field. The faculty-student ratio was 1: 40 which I feel is good enough. All faculty members had proper qualifications

Class Size : 64Course Fees : INR 80000 per year

Placement Experience :

From 7-semester placement starts in the college, they bring very few good companies but a problem is they don't have an on-campus placement because of campus size. Placement is offered in a pool of all the students from Tigps university

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

There was no fee hike and the cost of study for 4 years was nearly 360000. I got an opportunity from college to work and got placed but still I feel college can bring more companies in this job market a suggestion.

Campus Life :

There are annual fare which happens in the month of June and technical fest in the month of June Libraries are good they provide books so a student doesn't need to buy any books in his 4-year college life.

The most honest and unbiased review of IIEST Shibpur

Placement Experience:

Students from 7th semester onwards are elegible for campus placements. Some of the companies that visits for placements are Google, microsoft, amazon, pwc, TI, accenture, PPEL, etc. A total of 920 recruiters were there which offered 753 offers to the students and out of them around 75-78% were placed. The highest placement package was offered by microsoft for 51 lpa as PPO to 14 students and the role was IDC. The average package is around 7.5 lpa. I am planning to appear in GATE exam and go for masters in IITs after completion of my degree where i will be persuing my further studies in transportation engineering.

Overall only one thing is important is about hardwork with smart work . You have to work on your skills rest college is there to help you to show the path from your college to carrier .

Placement Experience:

From seventh semester onwards companies are coming to visit in our colleges . You will give exams in four phases that are coding , technical, aptitude and after qualifying all simple interview would be taken . Just develop your skills then surely you will get job . Highest package is about 10 lakh per annum and average is about 5 to 6 lakh per annum. The percentages of getting placed are about 60 to 70 percent . Just keep in mind that choose any language like c ++ , java , python and become pro into it . You will definitely get job .

Very appropriate college for all kind of students !! I recommend it.

Course Curriculum Overview:

B.Tech in CSE is future proof and a very good course for IT sector jobs and I was always excited working in these companies, that's why I choose the course. There are 10-12 faculties present in every department. Each faculty is M.Tech qualified and Drs. Their teaching quality is very good. 4 internal theory and 2 Lab exams happen each semester. The questions are standard, regular, and sincere students can easily pass.

One of the good colleges.

Remarks:

As seeing the college from outside i expected each room tobe AC but unfortunately it's not during the summer days it's pretty hot in the top floors but it's bearable canteen food items are cheap in respect to outside and wifi isn't free and I hate that.
