I had given JEE exam and scored 70 marks and i had opted this college as it is one of the most reputed institute in mumbai and it is one of the few institute which is autonomous and affiliated to mumbai university.

As k.j. somaiya college of engineering (kjsce) being a autonomous institute it has many benefits such that it can modify its syllabus on its own so with this power the college can provide a quality education as it can upgrade its syllabus with the new updates in the world.
Internships Opportunities :
No, college does not particularly provide any internship but they can help out if one needs it and students here get many internship opportunities from campus and outside campus companies so one can get here internship very easily.
Placement Experience :
Placements at kjsce are good and have a track record of placing at least 75% students.about 95% are software based companies. jp morgan,microsoft,google,tcs are some of the companies that comes here to recruit students. average salary is same as any other engineering college i.e. 3,25,000/-p.a., the highest salary was 11 lakh p.a.

Fee Structure And Facilities :
As the campus of kjsce is very huge and it is well maintained by the trust so one may find that the fee structure of kjsce a bit expensive compared to other colleges the figure comes to around 1,35,000/- but the infrastructure of kjsce might not meet ones expectations.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
There are many scholarships which are offered by the college students for needy students such as push and merit cum need scholarships and there are also many merit based scholarships offered by the private companies to somaiya students.
Campus Life :
As the campus of somaiya vidyavihar is very widely spread most of the sports are played here and there are separate grounds for many of them. There is also a indoor badminton court in the college. The college is very much spacious so there is ample of space there to practice each and every sports.for athletes also there are separate racing tracks in the campus. Labs are also well equipped with all the instruments necessary for the practicals, and about gender ratio boys are more than girls but there is not a huge difference in their numbers.the crowd here is mostly gujju as the college has gujarati minority.
Hostel Facilities :
There are two hostels in somaiya vidyavihar campus both the hostels are very well equipped with modern technology. The rooms are quite spacious ,four students have to share one room. The mess food is also very tasty and it is also very much hygienic. The
Alumni/Alumna :
Seniors are very much friendly and they always helps the juniors and share their experience with them and try to make the juniors comfortable in the college. These are not those type of seniors who do ragging and try to bully the juniors.here the seniors are very much helpful.
Exam Structure :
