Remarks :
For joining the Andhra polytechnic College 1st of all after completion of the 10th standard you have to apply for the appolycet exam and have to qualify in the exam. After qualifying based on your and caste you will be given seat as you mentioned in the councelling.and if you wanted to join by the management quota you will have to come to the college and fill tha application form and pay the application fee which is equals to nearly 5000. For the students who got seat by the councelling there will be scholarships available from the college and some other benefits. And the drawback in the admission process is when you get to the college lately or if you don't have any recommendations there is no hope that you will get the seat so i want this change to come intha admission process.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I chose this course because I am very interested in the electronics and i also got suggestions from my relatives that ECE course is very best for both the hardware and software. In the college there will be about more than 1500 for all the branches and years and there will be nearly 100 permanent and temporary teachers who tries there best to teach the students. Almost every teacher who works in our college is degree graduate or M.tech graduate.so it is very easy gain knowledge from them. Term exams will be coming in every 5 or 6 months and we have study very hard to pass and get good marks. Invigilation and question paper will tough in term exams.
Internships Opportunities :
There will be more internship offers in the diploma. In our college we got nearly three companies like NFCL,medha servo drives, veda iit for internships and they offered stipend of nearly 250000 per annum. In the diploma we did projects like pcb designing, power point projects,and a circuit which helps by giving an alarm if there is a fire in th house. And we have got a very happy output and we got appreciated by our college staff for our hardwork. It is very very difficult to design a circuit as we have collect many components and place them at right place without any errors and loose connections.
Placement Experience :
From the 5th semester, we can apply for campus recruitment tests and we can attend for interviews. When i studied we got more than 5 companies like NFCL,efftronics, Veda iit,medha servo,infosys. And the highest package in these is veda iit with more than 350000 per annum and the average packge is nearly 300000 and every company offered a training of nearly 6 months with stipend. For applying jobs we will have to get more than 70 percent in the exams and for applied people there will be a percentage of 50 who got selected and more than 20 percent got more than 2 companies in the campus recruitment. After qualifying the diploma i got a job but I don't wanna do it and i wanted to study higher studies so now i am pursuing my b.tech.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
The cost of study in our college is very affordable as it is a government college so there will be not much problem about the fee. But the drawback here will be the fee hikes as every year fees are increasing not much but it can be problem to the future students. Scholarships are given by the government named as the jagananna vidya dheeven in which we will get full fee reimbursement and scholarship of 15000 for every one year divided into two terms.i have attended an interview for company NFCL, kakinada. And got selected for the job for 300000 per annum. And training period is for 6 months and the stipend will be 16000 per month. but i haven't joined that job because i wanted to study more higher studies.
Campus Life :
There will be an annual tech fest conducted by the college called a tech-fest in February every year in which we will have to design a circuit on our own and show it at the fest. There is very huge library in our college in which we have nearlu 25000 books and 10 computers with internet and every day news papers. We can take any book from the library by signing and free for 15 days and after 15 days we will have to pay 2 rupees for every extra day. There will cultural fest and sports days for participating in dance and sports like cricket, kabaddi, badminton,running etc..There is club in our college called as the SFI in which we can tell any complains about the college or faculty to the student union.
