Remarks :

The Manage is good but too stick to their rules and regulation some times it goes against the student.

Entrance Preview :

I got chance through WBJEE( west Bengal joint entrance examination), rank was 25000(gen.). Choose because i talked with other student before took admission on that college & i took a short visit to college campus before that so i got an over view over that college most important i liked the whole thing from academics to college environment.

Course Curriculum Overview :

Yes of Couse most important thing is that now a days you don't get that chance. But in this college you will get a chance to enhance your knowledge through practical work. college student have developed things like fuel measuring device, Most fuel efficient car named "nemo'' which got good recommendation from Govt. and also created own E-system. So yes here you will get good scope for think out of the box.

Placement Experience :

Yes there are good placement record from the beginning minimum 70% students got placed in a reputed companies before finished the courses. there are big companies coming for placement like. TCS, IBM, Infosys,Wipro, HCL etc. For core stream there are companies like Binani, BIRLA group, TATA, Thermax, Polycap etc. Recent years Govt. sec also coming i.e. Indian army, navy, HSTL etc. Most of the students got more than one job. In year 2015 90% student got placed in a good company.

College Events :

Big event annual 3 days cultural fest held in college perform by college student and top stars in Indian film industry. First day is tech fest, There are many technical things going on that day. Next two days is cultural fest perform by college perform by college student and top stars in Indian film industry. Other celebration also going on through out the year like. Fresher welcome, Engineering days celebration and many more.

Fee Structure And Facilities :

The fees structure changed every years but approx. given below semester wise, 1st 36500, 2nd 37000, 3rd 38000, 4th 39500,5th 40000, 6th 40500, 7th & 8th 42000. Include game fees, medical fees, insurance coverage and other. This is the year 2015 fees structure.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

Yes there are Scholarships for meritorious students who scored good score in entrance exams free tuition fees for all 4 years and college also arrange bank lone for students.

Campus Life :

Campus life is good there are big grounds for different sports. Inter colleges games held in college ground every years. Yoga, gym, swimming, cricket, football and many more indoor and out door games teach by professional. boys and girls hostel are separated each hostel have different warden both male and female. there are doc facilities 24*7 with in hostel campus.

Hostel Facilities :

There are different food for veg. and non veg food made every days for students. there give 4 times food i.e. break fast, lunch, evening meal, dinner. Special rice also made every weekends. Also facilities like AC and NON-AC hostel. Students also get room for rent and PG in locality near college.

Alumni/Alumna :

Senior and junior have good relation like brother/sister they helped them in any problems. The total campus in ragging free,alcohol free if caught any one to do so they will rusticated from the college instantly.

Exam Structure :

Yes college affiliated by WBUT(west Bengal university of technology) and approved by AICTE. Exam structure is average based on AICTE approved syllabus. Student have to work hard for getting good marks.There are no shortcut for pass the exams. Student have to be regular on class,below 75% attendance student are not allowed to sit on examination.

Faculty :

There are good faculty from reputed colleges, universities,NITs and IITs like. JU(Jadavpur University), BESU,IIT kharagpur, NITs Durgapur and others GOVT. colleges all over India. Many more. Most of the faculty has Ph.D. Degree and others M.tech.

My College - My experience

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum is designed well we have a lot of other things apart from the computer science courses. Something to change in the course curriculum and teaching methods is that maybe we die deep. The exams are connected semester wise and the time between the exams is way too low like will be having midterm one and midterm to and the time between mid term 2 and semester end exams is too less.

Placement Experience:

You get to choose between higher studies and placements in the third year. The highest package is around 44 lakhs and the least package I heard was 4.5 lakhs per annum and i heard that we have an average of 10 lakhs per annum. People get employed and we get various companies.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The engineering course is good as technology is future. So I choose B.tech and computer science engineering to grow up in software side. It prepares me well in real-world applications like implementing and also doing projects. The staff should learn more coding to train students and the syllabus should be decreased. Good college will give you the better future

Placement Experience:

The college will support students for campus placements. But higher priority will be given to the 4th year students. Many MNC's are visiting our college every year like Wipro, TCS, Talentio, Infosys etc. Based on the company highest package would be upto 6 LPA. The management, we report as almost 85% of students placed in campus placements. My only goal is getting placement in MNC in campus placements.

This college is good at teaching and has good infrastructure. As we are preferring a college near to my place I chose this college. College got so good infrastructure and a large auditorium.
