Remarks :
I have joined here through ap eamcet. The eligibility of the course is intermediate. We need to secure below 70000 rank in ap eamcet to gain seat in mvgr in civil department. Here there is no any entrance exam which is conducted by college we have to join here through ap eamcet Or else payment seat. Application form can be avail at Admin block and it charges 8850.it can be given during eamcet counselling. There is no any reservation benefits available. No need to improve admission process it is very good.
Course Curriculum Overview :
In 1 year course there are 2 semesters. For each semester we are having 5 to 6 subjects and two lab sessions. For 1st year for each semester having 3 subjects and 2 lab sessions. For each semester duration period is 5 months in this they are having 2 mid exams , 2 quiz exams, and internals and externals. I have chosen this course for better improvement of my skills on civil subjects. Faculty students ratio is like they are very friendly with the students so that every student can ask doubts with out any hesitation. Qualifications of faculty are most of them are completed their graduation in mvgr college and pg in iiits and iits their teaching is very good. But for some subjects faculty are not good in civil department. Coming to term exams no need to worry about this faculty will provide qstn banks and materials before examinations and it is very easy to qualify.
Internships Opportunities :
Internships are introduced in 6th 7th and 8th semesters and the opportunities are internship companies are communicate with the students and they provide detail information on that with stipend for this students must be maintain 75% of attendance and permission from faculty and head of the Department Internship companies are internsala and parnasala are visited my college and communicated with the students to join. It is 2 to 3 months course in this we are having a role to complete the tasks and project. Project is introduced at the end of the internship students should work on it to get a valuable certificate which is very essential for job purpose from this students can also gain experience.
Placement Experience :
In my college there are 80% of placements every year and it increases every year. From the 6th semesters we ar able to apply for placements. Initially we have a written test we have to qualify in this to attend interviews. There are two interviews hr and technical students have ti crack this interviews to get placement. Visited companies are wipro, google, infosys, Amazon, ultratech, techmahindra.. Etc.. Every year eary 75% of students are selecting for the placements. Highest package is offered by Amazon and the average package is offered by wipro. My plans to go abroad for higher studies related to my core department.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
Yearly we have to pay 76000 and it is divided in to two terms. They also charges building fund fee of 8850 including placements fee. Semesters exams fee is about 1250 it should pay before sem exam. Supplementary fee is 500 for one subject. We have to pay same fee over all four years there in no Increament in fee structure. Scholarships are avail that are jagan anna vidya deevena and vasati and the opportunities are student should maintain 75% of attendance in every semester. Financial assistance is student can awarded 35000 cash prize if he/she maintain high percentage in over all 4 years. Campus jobs are there mostly software companies are available like wipro, infosys, tcs and google with 20000 stipend.
Campus Life :
Mvgr campus is fresh and we can find good environment. We can find peaceful atmosphere in mvgr. There are many clubs and fests are planned by management every year. Fests like aadrita, annualday, freshers party, water day and earth day not only these every small event will be celebrated. There is a large library in beside civil department in that we can find a lot books as much we want and we can borrow the books to our home but it should be return in time as they mentioned. I'd card is mandatory to enter in to the library, here we can get inspirational, comics, autobiography.. Etc books. Amenities in the class room are projector, furniture, board, lights and fans. Sports are conducted before the fests, they conduct department matches and we have to coordinate for that sports like cricket , valley ball, basketball, badminton, chess,... Etc will be conducted and the winners are awarded at events. There some social groups run by students FYFP to help the people and to visit tribal area
