Remarks :
University has block no. 5 as an admission cell where you will be received very humbly and all formalities will be carried out regarding documents first registration fee etc. Later on after the submission of documents, you will be admitted to the hostel while each room is given to students belonging to the same region.
Course Curriculum Overview :
My aim in choosing this course was to opt for a degree in physical education so that I will get a job as a physical education teacher. In Bachelor's of Physical education BPEd, there are only a limited 100 seats available in every college and university as per UGC role so were in my university. We got very qualified teachers there probably everyone was Mastered in Physical education and some of them were PhD holders also like DR K. P. S MAHI. and Dr R. S PATHINA. Every year has two semester and where conducted on June /December sessions and theory exams aren't tough as compared to practical exams. Every date we have to be in ground for more then. 3 hours on the ground for practice.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
In 2 year program of B.P.ED semester fee is almost 24000 with 7000 hostels and 2100 as monthly mess charges. In 3 year program of B. P.ES semester fee is almost 11450 with the same 7000 hostels and 2100 as mess charges. Scholarship benefits are discussed at the time of admission as per policy. 75% of percentage in 12th Or Graduation will be 5% less in the first semester. 85% of percentage with 10% fee discount. 95% of percentage with 15% fee discount. They have also a real brother scholarship. In which if 2 brothers are studying in the same course. One will have to pay only 50% for the first semester.
Campus Life :
General every month has a celebration week. Like Annual youth meet, Kho kho day, Volleyball, Kabaddi, Athletics, Football, North zone, New year, End year celebrating. Sbbsu have a library in which 200 students can study at one time and have almost 10-20 thousand books on different subjects available Books are available free cost for 15 days later on 1 rupee is charged as a late fee per day. We have hockey, football, Volleyball court, Gymnastics, Cricket grounds Available. official website is www.sbbsu.ac.in. There are certain Instagram pages and fb pages available that are either run by senior students for fun and information.
Hostel Facilities :
We have a hostel of around 500 to 600 rooms. Rooms are around 10' by 10' and 10'by 12'. Admin provides single fan 2 separate beds study chair and study table with mattresses that are included in hostel fee /AC for extra charges 6000 per sem. Hostel food is not my hygienic as large no. Of students come and go from a single gate. Food isn't much good in quality. Hostel mess must be divided into 2 buildings. Around 5-600 students use the same plates on a running basis. Registration for the hostel is done through the warden. And in admission cell 7000 per semester and 2100 mess charges. Those are paid during the first week of joining. One of the most common problems in sbbsu is that you can't go for pg Or you can't rent a room nearby university. University is generally 5 to 6 km away from the main market. No PG and rooms are available anywhere around.
