Remarks :

It is located in remote area, the transportation is bad only one route by train and the other way is to go by bus, still more comfortable in train faculty was not available that time, I am not sure whether it is improved now.

Entrance Preview :

I took E CET entrance examination, in 2003, and got 55th Rank, this is a government college, and the tution fee is less, so I took the seat.

Course Curriculum Overview :

it is kakatiya university so we have 4 colleges only associated, and the syllabus is mostly copied from NIT Warangal high voltage engineering Gas insulated substations HV DC transmission neural networks and fuzzy logic operations research are the some electives.

Internships Opportunities :

There was no stipend available for the graduation course in our college there are actually no company visited for internships as our college is remotely located and not aware by so many people.

Placement Experience :

I am from electrical, we have 3 branches in our college, EEE, CSE, Mining for mining only we have 100% placements, for other 2 branches we don't have placements.

College Events :

We have normally freshers party which is usually given by 2nd years to 1st years, and the other one is farewell party which is given by 3rd years to 4th year students we normally celebrate ganesh chathurdhi very grand in our college, it is the 3rd year people job to do and make it grand.

Fee Structure And Facilities :

It is government college so the tuition fee was 8000 rupees and it was also refunded for some backward class people, also mess bill will vary from 800 to 1500 rupees, and it also refunded by govt for poor people.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

Most of our friends got BC scholarships from government and other prathibha scholorships and IOCL merit scholarships based on the 10+2 and the semester percentages.

Campus Life :

We have a very big play ground and people used to play football, volley ball, basket ball, cricket etc everyday we had some cultural week and most of the students participate in that by playing singing, dancing etc.

Hostel Facilities :

The hostel in 1st year was horrible and the 2nd year was little better, and for 3rd and 4th years was very comfortable no need of payment of room rent as it is govt hostel, only need pay the mess bill.

External Expense : Rs.4000 - Rs.7000

Alumni/Alumna :

We had a very big alumni and most of them settled in govt instituitions like singareni colleries, BHEL, EIL, NTPC, HZL etc and most of the mining students were settled in Australia and othe mining countries.

Exam Structure :

Exams and lab dates are fixed and some times it can be adjusted on case to case if the syllabus is not finished.

Faculty :

When I was there, we have very few faculty, most of the faculty are contract based, they are fine, but most of the times faculty are visiting from NIT Warangal and other private colleges for few days to complete the syllabus.

We are eligible for the campus placements for fourth year starting and the placements will be in high and package are too good. The college holds a record of getting highest placed students in the state. Coming to highest package is 930000 and average is 600000-700000.The top companies like Google, Microsoft, Deloitte, TCS is offering highest package and giving placements. The students should maintain around 70% in academics to get a good placement. My plans to get placed in good company and Explore myself.

Placement drives in our college will start from the final yr and students are eligible to attend the drives from the 7th sem. The highest package is 12lakh per annum. many Companies like Wipro,TCS, cts, Infosys, and many more. The percentage of students getting placed is 65-70% on average. Admission:

The college accepts admission only via TS EAMCET. I applied for the entrance examination after completing my 12th standard exams. Once the results of the entrance exams are out, via counselling I got admission in the college.

Placement Experience:

The college has a placement cell and a placement officer that takes care of all the placement activities. The college also gives training related to appearing for interviews, group discussion etc for students to perform well.
